Trying to find a wedding dress has been quite a chore for me but I am determined to find one I’m in love with and not just settle. I’m really trying to find something that has sleeves and is pretty modest but struggling. So I’m thinking about visiting the White Chicago dress shop downtown to see what they have and if I can find a preworn wedding dress there.
Has anyone gone there and liked it? Do they seem to have a good selevtion of older and newer dresses?

I haven’t been there, but you can check the Yelp reviews: http://www.yelp.com/biz/white-chicago-chicago
I did go to I Do Consignment on Belmont. They had a decent selection, but I had to go through some it myself, which was overwhelming. Plus the woman I saw was quite the saleswoman and a really worked for a sale, rather than working to find my dress. Most of the dresses at I Do seemed rather large and poofy for me, but I have simpler taste than most brides. It’s worth a look if you can deal with the sales tactics. http://www.yelp.com/biz/i-do-designer-bridal-consignment-chicago

My sister and I went there looking for a dress for her. It was great!! A very cool store with tons of beautiful sample dresses. I think it’s very worth a trip.
