Wow, the center 4 is set so closely that is looked like a single stone until I looked more closely.  It almost looks like a cross between a cluster and halo.  Very pretty!

@CraftyCupcakes:

i think its beautiful,  but then i would because its similar to mine….but what IS  an engagement ring?

even if its a plastic ring from a christmas cracker……if it was given with love, intention to marry and commitment…….its an engagement ring surely?

i dont think there are hard and fast rules about what is and what isnt an engagement ring is there?

I wanted a cluster ring, but Fiance and my mom didn’t like it because they said it didn’t look like me so we agreed on something more classic. Here are some pics I found while googling the style:

I love all these rings! Beautiful. This is a diamond right hand ring I wear on special occasions. It was my mother’s so it’s about 20 years old. I would wear it as an engagement ring but my Fiance wants to get me a special one.

@dcdt212: Aww I love it!! gorgeous ring!

Aside, I really love cluster rings.. they can be very unique and beautiful, since they can form any design.

My 1/2 carat lovely! The center stone is 4 smaller princess cut diamonds, but it’s hard to tell unless you look at it closely. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Mine is a quad setting 🙂 There are 4 princess cut diamonds making up the center stone. Most people IRL just assume it’s one center stone.

This is my lovely, an antique from the 1930’s.  You can’t really tell from this picture, but its kinda a flower shaped cluster of 7 diamonds and then 3 down each side.

I have a composite ring in the shape of a flower. I see it as part vintage and part contemporary. Lots of shine and complex sparkle in different lighting. Filigree on the basket. Love it!!
