Sunday the 24th works for me.  Now how about a location??  I’m in NE Denver, others in Northglenn/Arvada?, and Boulder.  I always love Boulder for lunch, and would be happy to drive up that way.  Any of you Boulderites have a favorite place?

How many people, approximately? I love Dish deli but they don’t have much space for seating. Or Breadworks has fantastic (hearty) soups and bread and lots of seating. Any other ideas? I’ll be in Germany (!) for the next few days but I’ll be excited to check this when I get back!

Rock Bottom is good for me, too.  Are we saying Sunday at 12, or later??  Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi all. I’m also in the very beginning stages of planning a 2009 wedding, but from out of the country (I’m from Colo though). The Devil’s Thumb Ranch caught my eye and I was wondering if anybody knew where they fall in price range of Colorado Venues/Receptions/Catering? With basically everyone and their mom (literally) coming from out of town or across the atlantic ocean..the logistics and costs make me want to throw a egg mcmuffin in the Out of Town bags and call it a reception. Though I doubt the yellow arc would go so well with my color palette. πŸ™‚

I’m actually getting married at DTR this October.  It’s fairly expensive, especially if you want it in the summer.  Summer site fee is 8,000.  Oct-May (I think May, maybe late April) is 4,000 site fee.  Minimum food/alcohol in summer is 10k and in the off-season it’s 5k

email me  at yamundo at gmail dot com if you want some more information and other places we looked at.

even though it’s pricey, there aren’t many places in colorado like it, so i definitely think it’s worth it if you can swing it.  we have a lot of OOT’ers coming and really wanted someplace where everyone could stay and no one had to drive.

Hey everyone, I am actually from Mississippi but am getting married in Estes this August. Has anyone heard anything about St. Malo or Mary’s Lake Lodge? I would love anyone’s input on either of these two locations since that is where are plans currently entail.

Hope you all have a good lunch this weekend. Sounds like a lot of fun and a good way to meet lot’s of new people.

oh wow, that sounds a bit daunting!  and i thought i had it tough living in kansas, planning a wedding in colorado with my fam coming from california and his from florida!  yay, i don’t feel so bad anymore!  good luck!  wowsers, that’s intense!  one thing that i hadnt really considered in my planning was the lodging costs that the guests have to pay.  keep that in mind–airfare is expensive, and so they just may be looking for a motel 6 to balance the costs rather than a hyatt to enjoy the experience.  sorry i dont know any specifics about the place your looking at to help you out πŸ™

wish i could meet y’all for lunch.  any chance you’d like to meet in the middle of kansas?! yeah, didn’t think so!
