I do!  I believe my girl is from Rwanda (I had two, then one of them dropped out of the program, and I’m too lazy to get up and see if I’ve kept them straight).  I haven’t met her yet because I’m much too poor right now, but perhaps someday 🙂

@Knubbsy-Wubbsy: What they said is that the children have to attend the day program to receive what Compassion offers and my girl stopped attending (they guessed that her mom probably had another baby and couldn’t bring her) so she stopped receiving the benefits.  Which is kinda sad, it wasn’t her fault, but at the same time, those are the conditions, right?

I support a little Ecuadorian baby named Evelyn through World Vision. Same idea but World Vision has a lower admin/overhead cost so 88% of what I give goes straight to the child instead of 82% through Compassion. If you ever wanna check out a charity the site http://www.charitynavigator.org/ is pretty great.

Yes! My parents have two: a boy from Mexico, and a girl from Burkina Faso, and my Fiance and I have one, a boy from Nicaragua.

I have always wanted to, and I know I will someday. Since I am still a student, I just can’t afford it at this point in my life. It’s a dream and a goal of mine though!

My Fiance and I sponsor a little boy named Worrathep through compassion. He’s from northern Thailand. I looooooove getting letters from him. He’s only 4 so he can’t write yet, but he draws hilarious pictures. The last one was a giant helicopter, a blimp, and tiny bunnies. Too cute. I love doing this with my fiancé, it makes me feel so warm:))

@Knubbsy-Wubbsy: West, I believe. We’ve asked, but they havent given us an exact location. I didn’t even know Burkina Faso existed until we sponsored our little girl there!
