@NVACat  Oh yeah my sister is using painted Newcastle bottles for the centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner.  She thought it was cute that “The one and only” was imprinted on the bottle.

Not a craft beer nerd, just a love enjoying one. ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a brew pub here which has some really good ones. I just started working at a new restaurant which has a lot of craft beers, so I’m slowly learning about them all. But I’m obsessed with leinenkugel’s lately (& yes I already know the great debate people have of it being considered a craft beer or not).

Both Fiance and myself are huge beer people. I used to hate beer- but spent a year in the Czech Republic and came back a changed girl!! And I introduced Fiance to new beers, until now he is a bigger beer freak than me.

I got him a home brewing kit for christmas- we have done one batch and it was fabulous! So now we’re getting ready to do the 2nd.

I really want him to brew some to serve at the wedding, but I’m not sure if that is going to happen. My first plan was as favors, but we decided against it.

Fiance and I are both beer nerds! ๐Ÿ˜€ We are always looking for something new to try.

A place just opened near our apartment called Craftsman and they have a rotating selection. We love stopping by there and trying out whatever is new on the menu! Even though our wedding venue isn’t too original with craft brews, we’re having our after party at a small brewery down the street!

Yes! Well, formerly – I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance two years ago and had to stop drinking beer ๐Ÿ™ I still do what I can and drink as mamy craft ciders as I can get my hands on, and I certainly smell as many beers as I can. We love going to tasting rooms and festivals, and I am addicted to Rate Beer to find new Girlfriend beer/cider options – still haven’t gotten my hands on a case of Dogfish Tweason’ale though!

For he wedding, a craft brewery local to the venue is giving us an awesome deal on 4 1/6 kegs! Sound Brewery Sommerweizen, Dubbel Entendre, aaannnddd I forgot the other two but FH is really excited lol.

Craft beer nerd here! Maryland is the home of so many fantastic craft beers, I’m spoiled. I mostly drink fruit/herb infused lambics and unfiltered wheats. I most adore pumpkin ale and have tried about 35 different ones. I’m also very partial to nutty bown ales and chocolatey/coffee stouts. My Fiance is an IPA drinker, the sourer the better.

We just bought a brewing kit to use once we move. Our first batch will probably debut mid to late summer. FI’s thinking about a kegerator that can fit two pony kegs so that we can have two taps at the top. He knows all fall/winter that pumpkin ale will be on one of the taps ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love craft beer. We recently had a local microbrewy–Swamphead–open in town, and for a town our size, that’s a huge deal. You can go drink at the brewery (or buy a growler to take home) in the evenings until like 8 or 9. It’s a fun things to do. Whenever I travel around Florida or Georgia, I get really excited when I see their beer on tap or in the grocery store.

@MrsBroccoli  Pumpkin beers are probably my favorite!  What’s your favorite?  I’m partial to the Schlafly.

Sort of! I never drank much beer before dating FH, and I still can’t drink a lot at a time (I physically can’t burp so beer gives me big stomach aches) but I LOVE trying all types! We have a microbrew in town (Jackie O’s) and there’s a yearly fest (Ohio Brew Week). When we move back to Cleveland in a few weeks, we’ll be near Great Lakes Brewery, and we’re also on the World Tour of Beers at a Cleveland restaurant (100 beers in a year, rotating taps, etc.), so we’re very excited.

I’m a craft beer enthusiast (current fave is a rum cask beer – divine!) and Fiance is a cider enthusiast.  Our dream business venture is to actually get some land and start an orchard/cider brewery, so we’ll see if that pans out in the future.  FI is looking into brewing cider for the wedding, too!
