Peaches: I tried on your dress at DB and loved the fit and the plunging back. The shoulders were a little awkward on me and I ended up with the Oleg only b/c my mother convinced me to try it on. But I loved, loved that dress, and it’s soo pretty on you!

I had a very good experience in the Tally Davids Bridal and then a truly awful one in a S FLA Davids Bridal. It all depends, but here’s my dress! I love it!

i had an incredible experience at DB. It was the only place I went and had a dress budget of $500 which I thought ws high…come to find out, thats incredible low. Everyone there was incredibly accomodating. Super nice. I found my dress 1st day and I LOVE it. And it was under budget. Yay!

Oh my goodness, this thread just made my day! I haven’t been dress shopping yet but I was feeling a little disheartened about my small budget and the whole “Walmart of weddings” stigma…but every single one of you looks absolutely beautiful–I have hope!
Can I ask–those of you who had corsets put into your dresses, how much does that usually cost?

@His Lil SantosGirl: aww thank you! i love it! We are having a medieval inspired wedding. Not too overboard or anything (no costumes) but the men are going to be carrying swords during the ceremony which will be awesome!!

I’m a DB Bride too! As of, approximately 6 hours ago! 🙂
I had a really attentive and helpful sales consultant. She pulled perfect dresses. I actually ended up getting the second dress I tried on. We tried on more to “compare” but nothing compared to it. The store was moderately busy, but when you go to that type of store you expect it. I loved my consultant and if we use them for the bridesmaid dresses, then I’m going to ask for her specifically. 🙂

Wooh! I’m a DB bride!..kinda ;P I actually JUST bought one of their bridesmaid dresses in champagne to function as my wedding dress. only $170 too! and trust me I look GOOOOOD in it
the associates were incredibly helpful and pretty damn fun too! They didn’t ignore me just because I wasn’t spending a large amount of money, which other bridal salons did. Honestly it was some of the best fun I’ve had. I actually miss the shopping experience

@bellagio: When I bought my dress I was torn between the one I bought and yours!
@His Lil SantosGirl:
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this dress! This would have been THE dress but it was out of my budget:( Did you go with ivory or white? You look beautiful!

@peaches1038: Seriously? I so would have tried on that dress had I actually gone dress shopping. The twinness is starting to get freaky, lol. Anyway, beautiful dress and you look great in it!

My bridesmaid dresses are coming from DB. So far it hasn’t been a horrible nor good experience. Two out of the three dresses were ordered. I do have to say that those 2 dresses came in fast but the DB store failed to call me or my bridesmaids to let us know the dresses were in.
DB wanted to charge us a storage fee luckily when the Bridesmaid or Best Man went to get the two dresses she complained since she lives less than 5 minutes from that store. So am hoping once order my jr bm dress won’t have the same experience
