I bought my dress there as well, and loved the experience! They were very helpful and price was very good! The only thing that i didnt care for was the alterations, they are veryy pricey for what they do! But i love my dress and cant wait to wear it!!

I got my dress from DB too!  It was actually my first trip out looking at dresses, but my consultant was wonderful and picked out the perfect dress for me!  I ended up going back a week later and ordering the dress.

I’ve posted my dress a bazillion times aready (sorry, I love it so much!), but if you’re curious, you can check it out here :-).  The dress is David’s Bridal WG3026.

I was a DB bride! Their customer service is usually pretty hit or miss. My friend and SIL used them, too so I’ve heard both ways. = )

It’s a great place for budget brides, though! And I can’t complain about all the girls! some of them were AMAZING! = D

That’s (obviously) the one I got married in…and here was the first one that I bought. I was more in love with the price, I think. haha.

It was plain…no train and had buttons down the back. Since I couldn’t get it sold, I am letting a photographer friend do a Trash the dress with me this summer! = )

@marylandmel: I charish this dress. After i bought it I was still getting compliments on it from the sales ladies. It’s got a subtle sexy to it too with the back ๐Ÿ™‚

I am such a sucker for these threads! I am a converted DB snob.  I love, love, love my dress.  I actually wore it the whole day after the wedding, too. It’s not the best pic, but you get the idea.  Here she is–Oleg Cassini CT229.

I’m 99% sure I’m going to have DB dress for the ceremony. After getting my first dress (from a normal boutique at a DB price) hemmed I realized I want a more formal, bridal gown and I had bad feelings about the dress thanks to a seamstress my mom now refers to as “that woman” or “the witch”.

We had a great experience at the Waco store. We went on the weeknight and while there was a group there with loud, whining kids (my consultant told me they had been there forever) it was fairly empty. The dress was the first one I tried on and while the others were nice, none were as flattering. I kept petting the fabric. I’m going back on Friday to make sure it’s the one. My only concern is that the size chart was way off. Online it said a 40″ bust was a 16 but an 8 fit me just fine.

@bellagio: Hi, I love David’s Bridal. I bought two dresses there and caught them while they were at the $99 sale price.  I’ve decided to wear the lace one though.  They give great service in person and online, I’ve got to say I haven’t had a bad experience with them.  However some of the pricier shops around town are so snobbish and make you feel bad once you tell them you are on a budget.  I got two dresses now that are both originally over $750 each and extremely well made for under $200 bucks Laughing

I am SOOOO happy to see this thread and all the great experiences some of you ladies have had at DB. I am an encore bride and simply can’t see spending $700 or more on a wedding dress I will only wear a few hours. I went to a few bridal shops in my town this past weekend but didn’t find “the dress”. I am going to DB in 2 weeks (about an hour and half away) to see what they have. So many of my friends have told me that is where they got their gowns or where friends have gotten theirs so I am hoping for a great find as well. I have atatched a pic from their website of the dress I really like and am hoping I can find to try on. ๐Ÿ™‚
