I wouldn’t go back to the hotel for naps. I would just let your little ones nap in the strollers. That’s always worked for us and saves a lot of time. As for the construction- what hours are they working on the hotel? I doubt at night when you would be trying to fall asleep.

I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge during the beginning of the construction and never heard a thing! That being said, if you want to go back to your room in the middle of the day and you are spending a couple days at the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary is the way to go. You can walk back to the Contemporary from MK and it takes about 5 minutes.

I second the Contemporary Resort. I It is incredible how quickly you can get from the park to your hotel. The Monorail system and shuttle buses truly help out with the experience and make going back and forth a delight.

Also really helpful because if you plan on staying till closing, the mass exodus to get out of the park can take a very very VERY long time. It was a dream to just get out of the park, walk the 5 mins to the hotel and fall asleep!
