I have saved a few items I really like and am going to go home and measure and order, but I’m so nervous! I rarely buy clothing in general and hate shopping, but I’m scared everything I order is going to be horrible haha. I’m mostly looking for more seasonal fashion items, so I’m not super concerned about the quality, more so the fit.

Yeah, it’ll rarely look anything like the pics and you should look at reviews for sizing issues. That said, I’ve bought some cute retro style dress, skirts, and blouses from Wish and most have been wearable. Remember, you usually need to order to a size or 2.

I haven’t ordered from Wish but I have from several Chinese online shops and most of the time I’m happy. If you know how the sizes run you should be fine.
When I want to buy cheap clothes I look on SheIn. I got this top for around $11 and it is great quality! Looks just like the pic. I love their off the shoulder tops. Just make sure you check reviews for sizing info.

I thought about it, then I found this vlogger’s experience. Mixed results, but she did like some items she got: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-xECqToN84

I’ve seen quite a few people review clothes from Wish on Youtube…it certainly seems you’ll get what you pay for. Even on film the quality looks incredibly cheap (and I’m not a quality snob on most things), though many reviewers seem decently pleased with what they got. Though I suppose they can’t be too mad about the quality if they only spent like $5 on it. It’s probably a hit-or-miss with Wish when it comes to their quality, but I don’t think it’s scammy or anything. Since it’s so cheap it probably wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.

Thank you all! This gives me a bit of confidence. I’m definitely not expecting miracles for $11 haha.
orangeblossomhoney : I’m going to watch this when I get home 🙂 I actually love the websites dedicated to “how it looks online/how it looks real life”, I just don’t want to become one of them haha.

The “6 month” sized baby outfit I bought from Wish was huge. He was 14 months old before it fit him, and he’s already a big kid. Others that I know have used the site seem to always find the clothing too small (typically females buying clothing for themselves). I haven’t bought anything else from the site since then. It seemed too risky.
I have had great experiences with Shein. I just make sure to read the reviews to help with sizing. I’ve been pretty happy with material quality so far, but haven’t owned anything long enough to know how the wear and tear will go.

I haven’t had a ton of sucess buying clothes – practically sheer shirts, cute leggings. I love the jewelry and and I am ordering my brooches for my brooch bouquet for my wedding!

jellybellynelly : I bought a long shirt thingy to wear with leggings. It’s pretty much what you’d expect for the $8 I paid. I did err on the side of larger, but It fit pretty well, actually. I feel like it was worth what I spent

I had never ordered from them previousy, but recently decided to try. I ordered a mans suit and a pair of mens shoes, because I wanted to know what tailored clothes would look like, and if their is any quality in their shoes. Anyone can make a t shirt.
The suit and the shoes were both a joke. Despite using careful measurements and comparing them to the specified sizes, the suit jacket and pants were both waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too small. The inseam on the pants was at least 6″ too short. The sewing was terrible- crooked stitches visible on the outside, loose thread bits everywhere, the lapels on the suit varied in width by about an inch and a half, the pockets were fake- they looked like a pocket on the outside, but don’t actually exist.
I won’t be trying it again.
