I used to do facepainting at mcdonalds birthday parties. Here are some tips:

Find a few pictures of simple designs that you think you can easily copy.

using a sponge to do large areas of colour is much easier than a brush.

less is more, don’t use too much paint because it gets dry and cracked and itchy

designs just done on cheeks are great for little kids.

offer to do a picture on their hand if kids are scared of face painting.

a little glitter goes a long way.

have lots of tissues and a moisturising lotion for taking off paint.
