@leenh78:  I love that you have just two matrons of honor, I do too! I think the bachelorette sounds like fun, they must be really good friends to “insist” on doing it for you! I think your parents gifting you the dress and centerpieces is great and makes the two things they choose to gift you more special.

@AirForceWife78:  “Lesson Learned” makes me smile.  You sound so much more confident in your relationship this time around!

@leenh78:  Agreed on all points. The Bee is one of my favorite forums because of how welcoming it is. 🙂

@leenh78:  I’m a Millennial and my husband is a Gen-Xer and all of our friends got married in their 30’s. I’m the baby of the group.

@Goofball:  I am so much more confident! That’s the thing about life, you can’t live with regret. Congrats on finding the one!

@leenh78:  I used to work in stage management (regional, never NYC) and one of my Maid/Matron of Honor is a costume designer (loved going dress shopping with her).  That’s so funny.

Count me in with this. I’ll be 34 when I get married and my Fiance will be 31. None of my friends are married yet and are all my age or a year older, and where I live it’s not very common to get married before 30.

I’m a Gen-Xer though the mister is a Millennial (depending on the range – it seems to change with each article I read!). We plan on getting married next year and we’ll both be 32 by the time we walk down that lovely aisle 🙂

I’m a millenial (1982), but Darling Husband was just shy of 33 when we got married.

@leenh78:  I’m not quite a Gen Xer (1982) but my hubby-to-be is (1980).  I was surprised when I joined here too – lots of girls in their early and mid 20s!  I always wanted to get married around age 30 and I’ll be 31, so pretty close.
