I really love the look of gray stones, but they are almost impossible to find (and afford!). Do any bees have a gray engagement ring, diamond or any other stone? Show me.
To clarify, I mean really gray, like this: as opposed to black, etc. (Of course, feel free to share whatever ring porn you want to!

Oooh, that’s gorgeous. I’ve never seen one before!

@dewingedpixie: I haven’t seen a gray moissy! I’d probably love that too. The best (non-diamond) that I’ve found is Swarovski’s silver-gray stone (I think they actually call it black, but it isn’t). I don’t know about the hardness/durability of Swarovski though.

That is different but in a gorgeous type of way. I have never seen a gray diamond like that before. The only gray diamond I have ever seen has been a rose cut diamond. I would love to have one like this, except set in white gold. I think they are beautiful. Drool……..

Oh wow, both of those are beautiful. My right hand suddenly feels very empty…
@lululee40: Is that a diamond as well?

Mine is a sapphire that looks grey under fluorescent light and light blue in natural light. I love it!

I don’t have a grey diamond, it’s a moissanite. As far as I know, these were sort of accidents by the manufacturer. Sold through JTV, and I knew the quality may have been “less”. I don’t care, I love grey! When I was searching, I did come across “silvermist” diamonds and a few websites that had colored diamonds, but not a huge selection.

Wow. Definately unique! I have not heard of gray diamonds. Very pretty!! I hope you find one. Have you checked Etsy? Or asked a local jeweler? Sometimes they can order specialty stones that normally you don’t see.

@TealMarie: Gorgous ring!! I have a question…
Is your stone more “wide” than deep? Or is it deep, too? The reason I’m asking is because I see a lot of halo rings with big stones and I’m curious if the stones are deep like mine, along with being wide, whereas mine is more narrow or if they have a big surface area, but aren’t very deep set into the ring.

Whoa these are gorgeous… do want.

Etsy has some beautiful grey diamonds, especially rose cut ones!

I had no idea that gray stones existed!
It makes sense now that I think about it, but wow that is really unique.

I didn’t know they existed either, but I want one for a RHR now! I love the color gray.
