mrsjojo2016:  my old engagement ring was the exact specs your looking at. 1.2 carat H vs2 excellent cut round brilliant diamond. I never once saw this diamond look warm at all, it was extremely white always.

My ring is an H and I never see any yellow to it.

mrsjojo2016:  H is still very white in my opinion; especially for a round cut. I have an emerald cut G and looks pretty white, and you will usually see more color in emerald cuts compared to round cuts.

H is usually very white. I have an I VS1 and it’s also VERY white. Zero warmth.

H is still “near colorless” and is totally white in a Round Brilliant. Mine is ideal, H and I love it 🙂

mrsjojo2016:  rounds show very little color and H is petty high up there on the scale so it should be beautiful.

What really matters is where the diamond is from.  GIA  has the highest standards for color so  its from them then you have nothing to worry about, it will be stunning!

just for reference, this is my gia j (far below a H)

If your still concerned, setting a warmer stone in  or rose cold makes it look whiter!

Mine is an I and I do see a bit of yellow sometimes but it’s also a different cut than you’re looking at 🙂 I find that it looks more yellow in photos than in real life though.
