Are we related? lol
Our school doesn’t allow minors, probably a good thing for me or I’d have a lot, haha. But I’m content with my double major. Do you not have to major in education to teach? Here you have to have an education degree with a specific area emphasis, like social sciences, and then within that an emphasis, like in history. The education aspect just doesn’t interest me. College professor is still on my potential list of careers though.

Here you need a bachelor’s degree then go to teacher’s college for a year, when you get your Bachlor of Education. In short, I’ll graduate with my Honours BA in the spring of 2013, start teacher’s college that fall, and get my BEd in the spring of 2014. I didn’t think teaching would interest me much either, but I tutored last year and I loved it so that was a pleasant surprise for me. I joke that my goal is to be a mix of two teachers who were at my high school… the guy everybody loved and the hot teacher all the boys liked haha.
Maybe we are related lol. I can’t believe we have the same major and our boyfriends are both studying to be paramedics. If you tell me you guys are 20 and 21, I will start getting really freaked out.

I’m in the process of getting my Associate’s in Political Science. Hopefully this will be the semester it gets done! My Dad getting sick and the requirements getting changed set me back a couple of years.

Can I join the club with my BA majoring in Classical Studies and minoring in Art History? I am studying towards a BA (Hons) in Ancient History but it’s focused on art and mythology althought the study of history is still very much involved.
