Hi, my engagement ring setting isn’t as wide as my wedding band (both are set with small stones). In other words, the stones don’t go quite as far around. Anyone else have this problem? It’s not very noticable, but it drives me crazy.
Any idea what would be a fair price for a jeweler to charge to add two tiny (2.5 mm) VS1 or VS2 stones to a band (materials and labor)? I have no idea how much work is involved, so I’d like to get an idea before I go in to get an estimate.

@MissQG: a pic would definately be helpful. Im assuming you have a pave band where the diamons stop just before hitting the sides. Two add 2 more depending on what region of the country you live in could cost anywhere frrom $100+ There’s a lot of factors :o)

I’m traveling right now so unfortunately I can’t provide a photo of my exact ring, but here’s one that’s similar. Yes Jsquared, the diamonds stop right before hitting the sides and it bothers me, especially since my band has stones as well, and it looks funny since they don’t exactly match in width.
