We are doing online RSVPs for our wedding in the fall. When we get the RSVP portion of our website up and running, I’m hoping to have cute responses in the options, so people don’t just say yes or no. I am looking for more ideas, many of the ones I have come up with just don’t sound quite right. I am trying to keep it funny, but considering putting a cheesey/romantic one in there. And all of the "no" answers come out sounding rude, even though I’m trying to put it in a silly way.
Yes! I heard there was an open bar!
Yes! I can’t wait to see the mountains!
Yes! I’ll be there with bells on my toes!
No, I may have to do some shoe shopping that weekend.
No, wish I could be there!
I guess maybe I should just put nice, normal things for the "no" answers.
Thanks for any tips!

I don’t have any cute ideas but you might check out Evite.com, pretend you’re making an invitation and in the RSVP option section, you can see some of their pre-filled suggestions for options. Not sure how wedding-y they are but I remember them being really cute, last time I used that site.

How about something like: No, But I can’t wait to see the photos! or No, but I owe ya one! or even No, you wouldn’t believe what I have to do that weekend… and then guests could write what their conflict is if they want

We did something a little fun for our RSVP’s. We wanted our invites to have an overall formal look, but we didn’t want to be TOO serious.
will not reply, but will ultimately attend
I’m a little nervous about it, we haven’t sent them out yet. Hopefully people have a sense of humor and "get it". I can just see my 88 year old grandma being confused and checking "joyfully declines." haha

Thanks, girls! poandko – I have the same concern, that people won’t get it. I think yours are great! I would think it was funny, especially the last one. I love the "No" ideas, GaBGal.
When my fiance initially created the drop-down menu for the replies, he wrote "yes", "no", "maybe". It cracked me up! Why would we have a "maybe" option? That’s what made me want to put funny options on there. 🙂

honestly i think some people may be confused by the multiple yes options, and i personally would go with suggestion in #4 instead.
but of course, it depends on your guests too 🙂
