Our wedding is being held at a beautiful Chapel. I’m not a fan of Ribbon or flowerballs and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for Isle Decor/altar. Our theme is White Water as my Fiance and I are raftguides so I want to stick to nature/outdoor materials. I was thinking of having Tall Glass Cylinders line the aisle. I would place River Stones on the bottom of the cylinders to hold brown twigs standing the height of the cylinder, fill it with water and place a floating candle on top. Below is a picture similar to what I am talking about-minus the flower petals on the ground. I am afraid they are not going to have enough color for them to standout. The color of my bridesmaid dresses are tangerine and white floral print. I was thinking maybe placing a monarch butterfly on the twigs but then thought it would look weird..like i’m drowning them? Any thoughts, feedback and ideas would be great:-)

I really like the pictue. I would worry about them being tipped over and having water spill.
I like the idea of just doing riverrocks and tall branches.

I think your going in the ight direction with the twigs! Maybe even use curly willow!

How about finding drfit wood or long twigs and tie them together with twine to place along the aisle. You can then place moss strategically in between.
find large stones (like you’d have on a pathway) and line the sides of the aisle.

if you really want the candle/twig/rock/water combo, spray paint the twigs white so they will stand out, but I’m with Asparagus, I would worry that the water would tip over

@DeaconBride: I love the idea of having large stones lining the isle! We have a huge rock garden along side the river with gorgeous stones! Why didn’t I think of that! You’re awesome.
