My daughter’s wedding will be at a hotel in their ballroom. It has so-so banquet chairs, some ugly busy blue/dark red carpeting, formal beige walls, and pretty chandeliers.
She wants a fall theme and we had wanted burlap and wood elements- more country chic. Unfornuately it costs way more to use a barn venue and they’re also far away- so the hotel it is.
Would appreciate anyone who has pulled this off successfully and willing to share pics 🙂

I’m doing something similar. My ballroom won’t be like super duper over the top fancy — ours has a neautral kinda carpeting and white walls w/moldings. It’s pretty simple. Use a combo of burlap and lace. I just bought a burlap/lace table runner from an etsy shop (if you want the shop info you can PM me) that I’d recommend. Burlap feels country while lace feels elegant. It’s a beautiful combo. We’re just doing one runner on our sweethearts table but we’re gonna do other little country hints here and there. Our guests will be seated at tables with white linens — in the center will be a hurricane candle holder and flower petals scattered about to match our bouquet colors. Candle centerpieces are cheaper to do than floral. You could tie some twine or something around each candle holder to help bring in a natural feel. Umm, I dunno we’re using a lot of mason jars which brings in a country vibe. Any floral arrangments will be done in mason jars. All that fun stuff haha.
