Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help. I’m finally in a place where I think my boyfriend is seriously thinking about proposing and I’ve shown him rings that I love and he’s been paying attentionto them. However It seems like the styles I love aren’t easy to find over here in the UK. Does anyone know where I can find this style?
I don’t want him to spend thousands on me either as I’d rather that money went towards our wedding or future home. I really have my heart set on either Amethyst or Aquamarine.
This is basically my dream ring on etsy but it’d come from the USA and import fees/customs will be hefty as it’s over £600
Here are a couple of other examples that I found on pinterest/google
PS: If anyone can tell me the names of this style to look up more then I’d appreciate it a lot~ I’m pretty clueless about jewellery >.<

Honestly, I think your best best would be to have them custom made! This way you can alter any detail you like! It’s also more affordable in my experience ( I have 2 diamond rings and a band custom) then it would be to purchase already made. It’s also way fun. Call around and get some quotes then go with the one that best suits you and your partner. Good luck!

I think any ring of that design is going to be at least £600. ($750). Unless you have it made out of sterling silver. Gold is very expensive now.
Check out David Klass.

Love all those floral styles! My ring is in a floral setting (more simple than the ones you posted but along a similar vein as the one with the pink stone — petals surrounding my stone in the middle!) and it’s from Aardvark Jewellery, which is in Birmingham (they have a physical store but I am in the US and found them through Etsy) They do custom work as well (my wedding band is custom from them to go with my engagement ring) if you can’t find something close enough to what you’re looking for.
They’re a little pricey (think $1000-$1500 for most of their stuff, sometimes up to $2000. Sorry, not good with price conversions haha) but so worth it! And in your area too!

In 2 mins I found a couple of other floral styles on ebay in the U.K. that are easier on the budget. You would have to factor in your stone and setting costs though. Seller has 100% positive feedback and a 30 day return policy.
Here is a mount.
This one has an included diamond that you could remove and have an amethyst/ aqua set into it.

Thank you for the links, I’d love the second one in white gold but they’re not from the UK sadly, they’re from the US so would have customs fees stuck ontop of them :/
@citizenerased14: Thank you, I’ll go take a look! They’re so beautiful aren’t they? 🙂
@daliah12: The only issue I’ve got with that is that I know my partner wouldn’t be keen on designing every aspect and I am worried about the cost. I’d also like a surprise engagement ring and to not know exactly what I’d be getting when the time comes, so I’m trying to simply just put together a list of a few that i like for ideas for him!
Can any of you please tell me what keywords I can look whilst searching? Floral/vines/entwine/unique are words I’ve been using but not sure if there are any other names which they are normally called? 🙂

Try Baroque Jewellery, they’re based in Brighton. They do bespoke rings and have a few collections. The rose and thorn range looks similar to some of your images. My set is from there and I love it!
