sorry to hear about your news…

i ordered my dress from LITB, craftsmanship were ok (needs fixing up by seamstress), so you may need to spare time and extra money for this.

I ordered custom size, paid a little bit more so i get a better fit. Size was perfect..

Material quality was ok, i didnt quite like the beading…

Pics for your reference (dress looks long BUT i didnt wear a petticoat as required)

I ordered twice from there, both were evening wear.

The quality of the craftmanship was ok, (my dresses had no beading in them). I ordered mine in their standard sizes, it turned up well except for the lenght but i am a bit short but nothing that could not be fixed.

I live in europe and delivery through DHL took about 3 days after the item was marked as shipped, however it does take up to 15days for the order to be complete and ready to be shipped

I ordered my rehearsal dress from them. It took about 8 weeks in total, a few days of that was my own fault. They e-mailed me and asked for a specific measurement and I forgot to answer for a few days.

The dress is beautiful, especially the colour, but it’s a lot heavier than I thought it would be. They made it from polyester which surprised me. But other than that it was made very well.

Edit: Mind my venting, but here is the thread with my dress in it.

Rehearsal dress arrived, I look like a blob 🙁

I just finished reading your other post and was about to suggest an online dress! Have you looked at Dressily Me? There are oodles and oodles of happy brides who’ve ordered from there and that’s where i intend to get one too. Apparetly they’re pretty quick and from what i’ve read, the quality is fairly good for an overseas site.

I wanted a Valentino Metis wedding dress and since it wasnt being made anymore and I had no luck on preowned sites I contacted and researched several places.  The best place I found was neptunecouture.com  I was in contact with a woman named Claire there.  She was very honest and helpful.  I didn’t end up going with them because I did end up finding a used Metis.  Out of everyone, she was the only person who said it would be difficult to replicate the dress because that type of lace wasn’t available but she did offer options.  The best part of their website is that they show actual dresses and the original.  I would look into them.  Jasmine bridals was also one of the better ones.  Several sites just had the original dresses up and when I asked for a picture of their actual dressses that they made, most of them said they didn’t have the pictures but they could replicate it.  I hope things work out for you.  Your story made me sad, but don’t give up 🙂
