Update? Did you get confirmation of what’s going on with your dress?

They can be a bit slow with sending stuff out and shipment notifications- I’ve ordered some jeans on their website and some orders came in time while others were delayed. You can always call them and speak to a customer service rep!

@lumos: Ughhh! That sucks! I cannot stand when that happens. I’ve had it happen to me twice with two different online stores. One time I ordered something, got my order confirmation, then got a shipment notification a couple days later, and then like the next day the emailed me and said that the thing I ordered was out of stock. Ummm what? Yeah, I don’t even remember what the website was, but it pissed me off bigtime. That’s gotta be the most frustrating thing in the world to order something online and then the company is like “Haha JK.”

Grrr.

I’m having a similar annoying issue with Unique Vintage.

I ordered this dress for my rehearsal dinner back in AUGUST.

http://www.unique-vintage.com/1920s-bronze-pewter-deco-pattern-flapper-dress-p-13191.html

It was being made by the manufacturer for Unique Vintage, so I knew there would be a wait, but I never got any type of confirmation about when I could expect the dress. Then on November 17 I FINALLY got an email to let me know that they got a shipment, but there weren’t enough dresses in the shipment and I was either going to have to cancel the order or wait for another 3-4 weeks. (First of all, I think I was one of the first people to order the dress, so I think I should have gotten a dress from the original fulfillment. Second of all, if these orders were pre-orders, why wouldn’t they make enough to fulfill the orders??)

I really want the dress, so I’m waiting.

Sorry to threadjack, but I feel for you!

@lumos: Yeah, it was verrrry irresponsible that they weren’t on top of that! I hope this company you’re working with now is much better, and it sounds like it will be! I can’t wait to see pictures of you in the dress when you get it! And the items that I was buying that were suddenly out of stock weren’t dresses, thankfully, or I would have been REALLY pissed.
