I have an 18k white gold engagement ring, and a 14K white gold wedding band, and they go fine together.  I’ve only been wearing both for 3 months now though!  I hope that helps.

I love that band- it looks very similar to mine! I would imagine they’d look fine together. Good luck!

we bought an 18k ring with 14k bands for each side of my ring and thats what i was really worried about! I didn’t want to be able to tell if there was a color difference in the bands but they said there sooo similar that you can’t tell at all. The jewelers were correct you can’t tell at all. beautiful band

My Darling Husband has brushed.  When we got it they resized it right in the store (Jared) and then the guy quickly rebrushed it and it looked fine.  We bought it two days before our wedding and we didn’t have time for them to send it off.  I can’t tell the difference.

I think this is one of those things that really only matters for yellow gold. I can definitely tell the difference between different qualities of yellow gold, but I don’t think I’ve ever noticed with white gold.

Also, I wish I had gotten a lower carat yellow gold ring because, though purer is more mild looking, it is a little soft. After only about 8 months, I already have annoying scratches. Eventually it will just develop into the patina of the ring, but if I did it all over again, I would get 14k at the most.
