@atlbride2013: What colour were you looking at for shoes?

I love these Choos, the first is 4 inches but the second two are 3.3 inches.

@peonyinparis  you are one good shoe hunter ! THose options are gorgeous, if I didn’t hate my feet (we all have our irrational obsessions) I would totally buy one of those paris for my dentelle. Still haven’t found shoes myself :o(

So all this talk of fappergirls gorgeous headdress has got me thinking about my own – from the beginning I really wanted the jp camellia headdress which matches the middle of my dentelle dress (and the Aspen too). Then I thought it would be too matchy, then my sister said she didn”t like it so I started to look at other things, I ordered an extrememly simple veil and though I’d save money and go without a headdress…and now I can’t decide – I think it’s so pretty but do you think it’s wierd that it matches the middle of the dress. It’s EXPENSIVE so I don’t want to buy it and then regret it…what do you all think??

Thanks for the support. I didn’t even think about pinning it back. You are right though; it is on a thin wire, so I should be able to manipulate it the way I want. I feel pretty lucky because the designer is doing a model shoot tomorrow and offered to take it with her and get some photos with it in a model. I’m excited to see it on a real person, not just a styrofoam head!

@fifiparis:  I completely understand your debate. I saw the Justice of the Peace Poppy headpiece and at first loved that it matched, than thought it was too matchy, and the whole time I thought it was too expensive.  I shopped around, A LOT, and just could not get it out of my head. I found some others, but I kept returning to the pic of Luna with that Poppy headpiece.  Through my Internet searching, I found the designer I ended up working with.  I am sure that you can find something very similar to the Justice of the Peace piece that won’t break the bank.  Esty is a great place to start and also Pinterest also gave me a lot of links to explore. The designer I worked with was Andrea from Westlake Designs (she has a Facebook page) and her website is http://www.themodernvintagebride.co.uk/. Also, there is The White Wardrobe on Facebook, and she doesn’t similar work also.  If you feel like you want it, then do it!  I am really glad that I got my headpiece; I’m super happy with it!

You ladies are amazing shoe shoppers. I need something with a kitten heel.  Any thoughts?? I feel like I should have you look for me based on your amazing finds. Lol.  I have some ideas, but nothing that I love. I want to shy away from super bling because my dress is already all crystaly.

@FlapperGal:  You want a closed heel? I ask because Jimmy Choo has some really pretty kitten heel slides, but I don’t know how you feel about an open back.

Here are some other Choo options:

Isabel

Lyon

And I love these BHLDN pearl-embellished d’orsays, but it depends on the dress:

@peonyinparis:  Yoi should babe a personal shopper for shoes! Lol. I have seen Choos you posted, and really liked the Lyon, but those BHLDN t-straps are a amazing!  I actually kind of had my heart set on t-straps but coulnd’t find any that I liked!  I love the crisscross of the front and the metallic strap, which gives it some pop. Well done!! Now, just to find it in my size!!
