where can I find the invisalifts? My dressmaker suggested sewing cups into the dress since I already know I’m going to have an issue there because I’m very small on top but this may work and be easier

@maxip:  yey i’m so happy this thread has been revived. i always want to revive it but have no news!

i loooooove the isabel and i was thinking of doing the same with my willow. what colour are they?

I tried on my willow a few weeks ago with a veil i am borring from a friend (it’s just a simple tulle veil) and i thought it looked amazing. i know people are torn on this because the back of willow is so stunning. but the ceremony is so short and i loooove veils for photos. so i am going to wear one. i think once you try it on you’ll know what look you’re going for. but i’m totally doing a veil AND headpiece. i’m a more is more kinda girl : )  but i’ll be wearing no jewellry other than simple studs probably. so i feel like it’s okay.

let us know what you decide!

@mu_t:  its the champagne glitter fabric ones since my willow is the champagne/white color.

I too LOVE LOVE veils for pictures and just the overall idea of them at a wedding. Also, I also think more is better lol…. it was really one of the top reasons I chose willow over aspen because of the heavier (but not gawdy) beading it has… i loved it instantly! I’ll try and take pictures and post them tonight so you can see what it all looks like

@maxip: i have the champagne ones as well! I have the Aurora’s though which are pointed toe instead of open!

@mu_t:  i think they are definitely more on the silver side but could work with gold depending on the shade.

I wish i had more to share as well but have been busy moving and will possibly have to push our date back a few weeks. I dont get alterations until the fall so i have nothing exciting to add!

@lightmist:  oh no, why do you have to push the wedding date back!?  I’m not starting alterations until early January… so i won’t get to see my beauty for a while! but i have a lot of weight to lose so i’m okay with that. hopefully the next time i see the dress, i’m swimming in her!

I’m going to need headpiece advice soon though so i’ll be back. i trust you ladies.

@mu_t:  uh so im not divorced on paper yet and its been pushed back a bit so i have to push it back a few weeks because of waiting periods, etc. I am trying to lose a few pounds as well. Right now she fits me pretty well, just need a little tightening around the waste, but i wouldnt mind to be swimming in it in a few months. We will see!!

I have a few options for headpieces but atm i am not really liking any of them so i think i may have to go back to the drawing board. Definitely come back and show me what you find i need some inspiration.

@lightmist: oh no! i hope everything works out okay. pushing it back isnt’ ideal but if you end up married it’ll be worth it right 🙂

i’m obsessed with anna campbell right now. particularly the roman headpieces and the tulle headpieces. but i can’t decide which (if any) would suit my dress. Look her up though, i think her stuff is stunnnnnning.

I also love her stuff:

but the ones i am drawn to might be too crazy for my dress. i haven’t decided how “me” i wanna be. haha.

@mu_t:  i really love those!! but i feel like it would be too much for my dress, for the willow though you have so many options!

I am still obsessed with the headpiece i tried on when i found my dress, but its a jenny packham and its like 500 dollars but i would love to find something similar because it matches my dress perfectly.

@lightmist:  oh ya that’s amaaaaazing. i love all the Justice of the Peace headpieces. what’s $500 when you’ve already dropped thousands on a dress?! haha jk. have you tried looking for it preloved? I really like jenny packham camellia because it matches willow perfectly (without being too matchy matchy) so i’ve been scouring the internet trying to find it. someone had it listed on ebay for like $170 a while back but it was sold by the time i stumbled upon it 🙁   that would be my recommendation. you could alwyas reach out to someone on etsy and see if they could reproduce something similar?

@AngieLuvsAdam:  Thank you! I am having it altered now and it gets so much better when fitted to your body. I hope you do choose Callie, she is a wonderful dress. If interested I am a size 6 and may be selling it after the wedding on Aug. 31. Best of luck!

Y’all I am drooling right now. Jenny Packham has been the only designer to make me have a teensy bit of dress regret over my budget-friendly etsy gown (its a beautiful dress though). I wish I had at least tried some of her dresses on, but I live in middle Tennessee and all we have is a David’s Bridal. :/

FINALLY SOLVED MY VEIL DILEMA!!!! I went into the bridal boutique and they happened to be having a Sarah Gabriel trunk show that day. I tried on some veils with the sample willow and I ultumately chose a floor length veil for my Willow…. I was so concerned it would take away from the dress but its so sheer and with the tiniest rhinestones on the bottom I think it just adds to the look…. LOVED it!!! They are going to have it made in the same champagne tone as my willow, so everything will look cohesive. AND my Jimmy Choos finally came in and after some issues with fit, I now have the right size!    I’ll post some photos during my first fitting in July/August  bc the ones from the other day really don’t look good lol ( I don’t the dress is still beautiful).  Now, anyone have any ideas in terms of hair accesories? I’m wearing the veil only for the ceremony but I’m struggling as to what to wear in my head for after that, or even a hairstyle… I originally had a low side swept style done at my trail and it was nice, but now I’m doubting it and thinking of new ideas…… any suggestions?
