@becster:  I am also having an indoor/outdoor wedding, and struggled to decide on shoes. I wanted something leather so it didn’t stain from the grass like satin would, with a low heel and thought an ankle strap would be good if my heels accidentally sink into the grass. Re the shoes from BHLDN, does your dress have a lot of gold in it? If so, I think you can definitely wear those, but if you want to be a little bit fancier, I’d try and find a low heeled strappy sandal…not sure of what you think of something like this?https://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/shoes/sandals/PRDOVR~14346/14346.jsp’ defer=’defer

I think the braided hair style will definitely go with Eden – it’s got a very relaxed, etheral garden wedding vibe. Your dress has the gorgeous v-neck so you can definitely wear your hair down on your shoulders and it will look really pretty!

@cprds:  Congratulations, your dress is so pretty! I love seeing the detail up close, as the beads have a sort of pearl/opal iridescence about to them you can’t notice from far away. What kind of headpiece are you thinking of? Ivy isn’t super bedazzled so I’m sure a headpiece wouldn’t be too much.

@concettina:  thank you! I’m not sure, Ive looked around on Etsy trying to find something that matches the beading on the sleeves of Ivy but I haven’t had luck finding anything. I’ve also looked at twigs and honey. If you have any suggestions feel free to show them to me ๐Ÿ™‚

And I love your dress! Its gorgeous!

Have you found your accessories to go with your dress?

@concettina:  Thank you!  So the dress does have a lot of gold in it, but I know…those shoes are realy gold.  My mom actually gave me pretty much the same advice as you!  those j crew shoes are pretty cute.  i am worried they would hurt, though. luckily there are tons of gold sandals to choose from.

When are you expecting your dress to be delivered?

Hi Justice of the Peace brides.

Thought I’d share my wedding photos & video trailer. I know finding Justice of the Peace brides who are not skinny was really difficult for me… sharing might help other brides who might not be models imagine a Justice of the Peace dress on them! so here it is:

if you have any questions, lemme know ๐Ÿ™‚

@Fleurcakes:  Esme is ah-mazing! What are you thinking of doing with your hair? Like my dress you have a high neckline, so I love hearing what brides are doing.

@cprds: I see your dilema regarding accessories. The only thing I’ve seen similar to your dress is these opal pins from Emmy http://www.emmyshoes.co.uk/collections/bridal-wear-hair-accessories/products/opal-daisy-pins#.UwkxM_SSxT0 but to me that seems pricey for hair pins. I googled pictures of your dress and it does seem that most real brides don’t wear hair accessories. I think if you wore something at the back of your head instead of like a headband it wouldn’t clash too much. Do you have your dress yet?

I bought the Justice of the Peace Navette belt to wear with my dress (but am unsure if I love it) and am still weighing up headpieces. http://www.bridelaboheme.com.au seems to have some beautiful cost-friendly options.

@becster: those JCrew shoes do look a bit unfomfortable! Depending on how ‘1920’s’ you want to feel, Ginger could be good (imy dress needed something more plain otherwise I was going to get them) http://www.rachelsimpsonshoes.co.uk/shop/ginger-gold/ But it depends on your budget, you could even get a pair of low heeled Choo’s if that’s your thing. Like you say, so many gold heels to choose from.

And my dress is already here! I bought it when I was overseas, and tried on a brand new ‘Rose’ in the size and colour I wanted, and the store said I could take it then or wait 6 months. So I took it, and it’s been helpful having it here to test out accessories and hairstyles. It also torments my fiance not being able to go into that wardrobe ๐Ÿ™‚

@Fleurcakes:  Yay a dress twin! I have been second guessing all the accessories since Esme is so detailed. What shoes are you wearing with it?

@concettina:  I LOVE Rose! It was my runner up, so flattering and pretty. Good choice ๐Ÿ™‚

I know I’m resurrecting an old thread, but just put down a deposit for my Justice of the Peace dress – too excited and had to share!  This is the lovely Leila in antique ivory.  I’ve not made the final decision on colour yet, but this has to be the front runner!  Has anyone else tried on her new 2015 collection?  Would love to see your choices!
