Ahhhh!!!! Just talked to my doctor–they want to bring me in next week for a blood test and first visit!  I’ll be just 5 weeks on that day, so I guess I got lucky. πŸ˜€

Anybody done this already? What should I expect at such an early visit?  Should I bring my husband?  I think he wants to come…not least because he’s convinced that I’ve totally lost my ability to drive on our twisty mountain roads.  I haven’t. :-p

@MommaJenn28:  I am! EDD right now is 6/23/14 just off my calculations. Don’t have a dr appt until I’m 8 weeks, so I’ll find out more then πŸ™‚

I hit 6 weeks yesterday and boom morning sickness, more like all day sickness hasn’t left my side. Thankfully my sweet DH has been taking care of me. How is everyone feeling?

cali_cat:   its like u know me lil. Ive been loading up on dollar tree hpts, and the line comes up sooner and faster each time. Im seriously debating ordering the detect5 hpt, it detects hcg levels at like 5 increments. My doctor texted me yesterday though and said baby’s betas are good, and we’d do the first ultrasound in 3 weeks! I’m tempted to have one done earlier but I don’t want to cause any unnecessary harm to baby.ETA: I have one more of the CBE that tell you how many weeks along you are, once I get to 6 ill use it to make sure its reading correctly. e

I cannot wait for morning sickness! That sounds crazy, but they say the sicker yoy are the better baby is probably faring. Im exactly 5 weeks today, and all ive felt has been uterine twinges and tugging, as well as some ovarian pain. I think morning sickness will reassure me that im pregnant, and not expecting a period!

@MrsRichard:  I have just about every symptom ever, ugh! It’s my 2nd baby, though, so I expected this. Starting to get waves of nausea, backache, headache, sore nipples, exhausted, etc. Bloated as anything. Very mildly crampy. I’m 4w1d and don’t have a dr appt until 11/12 @ 8 weeks, so just kinda hanging out and trying to (not so patiently) wait until then.

@NaijaPuertoDorian:  lol that’s what I said too, so now that I’m getting every symptom in the book DH keeps saying its cause i kept saying I wanted to feel symptoms to know everything’s okay. Maybe it’ll all hit you at six weeks like it did me!

@xLoveLikeWinterx:  I’m having all those symptoms too, but this is my first baby so I’m like woah what is all this?! Lol I have class 8am-11am and I’m finding that to be the hardest thing to deal with cause I’m exhausted, nauseous, and starving all at the same time!

Count me in! I got my BFP yesterday, with an estimated due date of June 20th, if I actually ovulated when my chart predicted.

I must say I feel like a bad Momma out of the gate, because I don’t even have a family doctor in town. I called my husband’s/DD’s family doctor this morning to see if they’d take me on as a new patient (given the circumstances), but their office is closed until Friday morning. *sigh*. I’m tempted to go to a clinic, but they don’t even do bloodwork there…

OAN, my husband does not seem excited at all, and it’s bringing me down. The weird thing about it all was that he wanted baby #2 even more than I did (I went back-and-forth about having another, since our DD is 9… but I’m over-the-moon!). Of course we thought it would take longer to conceive since we rarely BD (he had a hernia, and actually had emergency surgery for it 4 days after we DTD) and my cycle was out of whack for a bit, but it only takes the one time… dang.

ETA Im 5 weeks 5 days.

I had to go to the er last night fir mild bleeding. While my hcg is increasing nicely (im at 1000 on my betas), when they did my transvaginal ultrasound, they didn’t see anything. No gestational sac, no yolk sac no fetal pole. They told me not to worry, that next week they should be able to see something. My hcg levels right.now are too low for anything to be seen. I’m trying not to worry, but I still am. I really don’t think I can bear another loss, especially when I knew about this little bean. I think alot of my issues stem.from my work environment, I have to get up at 4 to get to work by 6, and I don’t often get home until 530pm. I’m not getting adequate rest, and my stress levels are too high, and im scared that they’re compromising yet another pregnancy. My coworkers and boss, who are all male, do not empathize with me at all. My husband is coming home later than expected, so I’m dealing with this all alone.

@NaijaPuertoDorian:  Sorry to hear its a difficult time. Hugs. Maybe tmi but has the bleeding stopped? Above all, you need to find a way to relax and not be too stressed. Hope you have a relaxing weekend πŸ™‚
