Hi all! It’s about 5.5 months until the wedding so I am really buckling down to get my behind in shape! I’m working to tone up all over and lose some of the jiggly. Anyone else working on it for June 2014? What plan of attack are you working on?

@melapalooza: I am! I’m not looking to lose a specific number of pounds but just slim my midsection and tone up. I have been trying powerwalking and running faster (but shorter periods). I also gave up a lot of processed flour goods and *say* I’m gonna give up alcohol (though that is a lot harder!)

I’m trying to slim down a bit and tone up. I’ve started eating a healthier breakfast and lunch. Also cuting down on the sweets, even though I’ve been dying for a cupcake for the past few days. <.< lol

My goals are to tone up and loose the jiggly stuff on my arms, inner thighs, and love handles. I just joined the new gym in town, which is tiny and gets busy very fast. So I have to work out in the morning before work- which means I have to get up at 4:30am. I’ve struggled with this the last few weeks, so I need to really buckle down!
I’ve put on weight since we moved, I was very happy with my body this time last year. I slimmed down in 3 months during that time, so I know I can do it in 5!
I’ve always been a pretty healthy eater, but my weaknesses are carbs and dessert.
So I’m trying to cut out all processed carbs (bread, pasta, crackers, chips, etc) and limit my sweets to once a week.
We can do it!!

Me! (: I’m just trying to lose the 8lbs that I gained since I bought my dress and tried it on for the first time! It fit perfectly back then and I don’t want the 8lbs to interfere with that. So far, I’ve lost about 4 just from getting back into healthy eating. I’m pretty confident I can stick with it despite the wedding stress and lose the rest aha. 😉 We can do it!

We are doing South Beach diet! Its worked well so far with both up us, my Fiance and I doing it together. I want to lose 15 lbs ack! I also just ordered some Plexus Slim and Accelerator to kick start me for the next few months. Tried it our for 3 days and I swear my belly shrunk an inch already!! Good luck ladies!

Just want to tone up and get back to where i was before i met Fiance. Im happy where i am now but I’d like to get healthier so i’ll be in shape when we start trying for kids

I’m working out more and eating better but alcohol is 100% my downfall. It’s just so hard to give up beer. And wine. And Jack. And Jose. And then once you say yes to Jose, you say yes to his friends Chimi and Nacho. Ugh Fridays.

My Fiance and I recently took up bodybuilding. I just really needed a new hobby and I wanted to get more toned for my dress! So far, so good! I squated 170 pounds eight times today! Which is where my highest squat was before my knee surgery over a year ago!

Me me!! Iam on hcg diet, lost about 8lbs and my goal is 135lbs. I refuse to have flabby arms and a fat little face on the wedding day!! Ahaha but so far so good

So far, I’m just trying to take it one day at a time. Rejoined the gym and using the free training they offer to new members. Food is always the problem for me though. It’s easy to get myself in the habit of working out, not so easy to turn down chips, dip, and margaritas every Friday when we eat Mexican! I’m one of those people who slip up and then let the whole day (sometimes week) go to hell in a hand basket!
Def need to work on getting back on track right after I screw up!!

@melapalooza: I should be…. ugh. I feel guilty for just NOT having the motivation and I’ve already had to have my dress let out once, ha. I did order some Spanx, though. #noshame Once we move into our house I will probably spend a lot more time playing Dance Central, though. That should help!

I just had my first dress fitting last weekend, and prior to that I was on a diet trying to get back to where I was when I bought the dress. My Fiance and I do a modified Weight Watchers plan that we LOVE. I swear by it because we can still eat fast food, and I’ve lost 8 lbs and he has lost 9 already. Now that I’ve had my fitting, I’m just going on my maintenance diet where I get about an extra 240 calories per day. I’m also starting to do some weight lifting in the mornings to tone up my arms for my strapless wedding dress 🙂
