achilles : I can’t begin to imagine what you have been through, but I’m glad you have been able to start back on Femara again – hopefully you get something useful out of the blood tests.
Have they spoken about doing any additional treatment now you have had two losses or are they just putting it down to ‘bad luck’? I know some doctors will prescribe a low-dose steroid in some cases as some studies have shown it being affective in preventing miscarriage.
mrsc0116 : woohoo how exciting! Hopefully you have a smooth sailing pregnancy 🙂

How is everyone?
mrsc0116 : any exciting updates? Did you spread the news at all?
So my body decided to O on cd12 this month…because I specifically asked it to wait until its normal time of cd14 or 15 and that would have just been way too convenient. So we managed to find some time the night of my smiley face to give it a go while visiting family in Florida…in a twin bed. It was very hard not to laugh at the absurdity of it all. I can’t imagine the odds are good from that one attempt, but at least we tried!

emsy : Thank you!
islabride2016 : I’ve peed on about 15 sticks and they all seem positive so fingers crossed it sticks! First appointment is April 20th so the next 29 days will be the end of me! I told DH the morning I got the positive on the digital. He’s over the moon but we’re both trying to remain cautious at the same time. Fingers crossed the twin bed is your lucky story, that would definitely be one to retell!

mrsc0116 : That’s such a long time to wait for your appointment! I hope it flies by for you. I can imagine the desire to keep peeing on sticks is unreal!
I’m having a more relaxed tww this time. I’m pretty much assuming it’s a no and it was kind of nice to not have the additional doctors appointments for a change. I’m sure I’ll still manage to be disappointed though!

islabride2016 : hope your tww has gone quickly!
just a little update on myself:
Finally got my period (was waiting for my natural cycle to start) and ended up having to go in for blood tests on CD 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 because my progesterone was too high to start medication till CD 10. I was allowed to start my 5mg/day CD 10-14 and will be going in for another blood test on CD 18!
