I have two emeralds on the side of my ring. I love them! Green is my favorite color.  I don’t find it clashes with what I wear. Green can go with everything! Good Luck!

Well I usually wear neutral colours so my emerald ring acts as a nice colour accent but honestly, I don’t even notice, or care, if it clashes. At this stage, I’m preoccupied about how pretty and sparkly it is lol.

@Miss Circe:  I love love love your ring! My grandmother had an emerald that I currently wear around my neck in a pendent setting, but I think hers must have looked just like yours when she had it in a ring.

As for clashing colors, I have a sapphire e-ring that really goes with everything, but I wear my grandma’s emerald around my neck and a emerald, diamond cluster ring on my right hand. At first I was a little worried that it would clash, but I can’t imagine not wearing these stones everyday. I do however wear a lot of whites, browns, greens and blues, so purples and reds aren’t really in my closet.

Mine is a sapphire. I don’t think it ever really clashes with what I wear because it goes with my natural coloring. I’m a fairly pale (but not white white) red head, I tend to wear blues and earth tones most of the time. Green always goes with my hair, and if something were to clash with my ring it would probably also clash with my hair so I wouldn’t be wearing it anyways. Also I’m a bit of a tom boy and I don’t care if it clashes anyway 😛

@MsSteelTea:  Why thank you Smile I absolutely adore green stones – I’d love to get my hands on a tsavorite garnet and a paraiba tourmaline next.

We talked about doing a green amethyst e-ring for a while because my boyfriend’s last name is Green and he thought it would be a cool to give it to me as an invitation to become a Green myself. He’s bought me a green amethyst necklace and earrings for past holidays and I love how pale and beautiful they are.

I loved the idea but I was also nervous about it potentially clashing with certain outfits. Then I was given my grandmother’s engagement ring recently and we decided to use the diamond from that as my e-ring center stone instead. I still really loved the idea of a green amethyst ring too, so I am going to get my grandma’s setting re-sized and get a green amethyst to replace her diamond as the center stone and wear that as a right hand ring.

When I wear my green amethyst earrings and/or necklace they are such a pale, light green that I do feel like they match a lot of things. I do have outfits I wouldn’t wear them with though.

All in all, as other posters have said, if that’s what you love then you should get it and clashing be damned! It’s probably going to be rare that you wear anything that might clash anyway.
