I don’t have any advice, but I just wanted to say that ring is gorgeous! I love that shape! I think a gap would actually do a nice job showing off the ring even more, if that makes any sense?

Cant help there because I got a contour band for my hexagon ring, but here is mine ๐Ÿ™‚ (mine also sits up, not flush with my finger, so the contour isn’t as severe as yours would need to be if you went that route)

I love yours too! So pretty!

Ooh! I have a hexagon ring too! Mine is set higher, so the wedding band is flush against it. I’m not much help, but I got excited to see not just one, but two hexagon engagement rings ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is a blurry pic of my solution! I wanted a ring I could wear alone as well, so a curved band as out for me.

My is that a gorgeous ring! I don’t have any pictures but I can totally see you rocking a gap with a delicate plain band with some engraving.

I think the hexagon is beautiful and so unique! I would not use a contoured band because it would detract from the individuality of the hexagon.  I say Rock the gap!

barrogten:  Thanks! I originally wanted a sapphire engagement ring but my fiance didn’t like that idea. I suggested getting sapphires on the band of the e-ring, but he still was unsure and the jeweler thought it would “detract” from the center stone if we did that, so we compromised and got them in the wedding band ๐Ÿ™‚

molokoa:  Do you have a pic of yours? I love seeing hexagon rings too. I find myself drawn to all things hexagon now LOL

This thread is making me want a straight band too ๐Ÿ˜›

I have a sapphire wedding band that we found at an antique jeweler. Here’s my set
