I’m in between. I’m 41 so I’m not super laid back. But we only just decided we both wanted a chiild in life so I haven’t been’needing’ a baby for years. I’m doing an OPK this month for the first time and am just now paying attention to my cycles so I guess I’m not laid back with that stuff. I’m going to my doctor to start doing normal tests and things for my age so that’s proactive too. But we both love our lives and don’t want to stress out and make this the most important thing. We would love to have a child together. We also do not want to stress ourselves and make our whole lives together about conceiving. If we don’t do it after a year we are happy to adopt.

I’m pregnant right now but I think I was pretty laid back. I was anxious to get pregnant to make sure neither one of us had any fertility issues, but I wasn’t using OPK’s, I wasn’t charting, I wasn’t temping. Literally just tracked my period dates and BD’d accordingly. I wouldn’t be able to handle the stress of all of the other factors.

Last month was my first month off birth control in about 18 years so I was peeing on OPK sticks like crazy until I got a positive and then eventually got my period. I’m going to be laid back for the next couple of months before I start paying attention to my cycle again. I’m 38 so I should not be laid back but it won’t kill me to chill out for 60-90 days!
