I’m starting to think about rings, and Adenine wants lots of input 🙂
I work in a lab, so I have to wear gloves all the time: therefore I can’t have any high settings or prongs sticking out! I know lots of lab workers take off their rings or put them on necklaces, but I’d rather wear mine all the time… not to mention I’m clumsy outside the lab too, my parents bought me a lovely sapphire ring when I turned 16 and I caught it on EVERYTHING.
I see lots and lots of beautiful rings, but most of them seem to be really high. I’d love to see your pictures of rings which don’t have things poking out of them 😉

I have a bezel setting which sits very low. I love it!

Oh my gosh, that’s stunning! The one problem I’ve had with the low settings I’ve seen is a lot of them seem kind of boring to me… yours DEFINITELY isn’t. 🙂

I didnt get this ring, but I loved it the first time I saw it. It’s part of Movado’s engagement ring line.

I have one, and I love it! It doesn’t catch on things, is quite durable, and I think it’s lovely!

I work in a cadaver lab with gloves everyday and I am very active and so I needed to get a low profile ring and I LOVE tension settings.

And I am from London too 😉

Mine is pretty high but I just wanted to chime in to mention that you should do a bit of research before buying a tension setting. I could be wrong but it is my understanding that they can be difficult and expensive to resize, and can be pretty expensive to set as well. If that is a problem, maybe you could look into a bezel set like suttonista’s 🙂

Haha, what are the chances?? I’m a genetics student 🙂 (hence my username… lol)
I love your ring too. So unique and lovely.

I am at western too! I am doing a PhD in clinical anatomy!
There have been a couple of London Bee’s throughout the year that I have been here!
In regards to Corgi’s comments. The company that I bought my ring from did not charge me for any resizing that I have had to do!
Have fun searching for your ring!

Just thought I’d chime in too! I am living in London (and at Western!), and Future Mrs. Martin we are date twins (if Aug. 21 is correct for you!)!
I have a Tiffany Lucida and it is low set…I love it, and it never catches on anything!

My engagement ring is a halo, but this lovely darling was a gift. It is the Centenary Ring from Georg Jensen. I have worn it every day on my right hand for 3 years and it has endured numerous knocks, bumps and general ill-treatment without any drama at all.
