44 and 53 and 2nd time for both of us. It was a small Register Office wedding and I’m just under 5ft and didn’t want the full white bridal look. If you’d told me I’d be married in a pink tartan wedding dress a year ago I’d have thought you were mad!

You outshine brides half your age!

@Drizzke Wow, so gorgeous and unique. You look royalty, where did you find your dress?

Thank you! You’re so kind. I bought it from a dress agency called Frox via eBay! They sell clothes and accessories on for wealthy individuals who sometimes haven’t even worn them. The agency is in Derbyshire which works for the ladies selling the dresses as they are usually London based and don’t want themselves or their friends to see their wardrobe on sale locally. It was unworn (all labels still intact) Vivienne Westwood Gold Label. It was only £500 and cost well over £2000 new. It’s great because I don’t like my upper arms and I have big knockers that I didn’t really want to steal the show and the Bardot neckline hid the arms and minimised the boobs without looking matronly.
The headress was an indulgence, from Philip Treacy, but at least I can wear it again in the future at the races etc.

I just want to say that you should not let anyone say or even imply that your wedding doesn’t matter, because of you being “mature” or because it’s a second wedding. It still counts. Good luck!
