@andmuzic4all:   Yea my Fiance is so stoked for the pancake bar and glad you got your alterations done. I actually picked my shoes already I got them from justfab.com for like $20 cuz there was a special. They aren’t typical wedding shoes though because that just isn’t me lol. As far as the rest of the planning though I feel a little at a stand still too, although my girls and I did finalize the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress and shoes the other day. I am not sure what else to really do right now though. I am working on making the centerpieces bit by bit and I seriously need to stop slacking on finding an officiant, know anyone good? And yea it is nice to see other people on here I was begining to think it was just us lol.

@LuluInLove:   I have only driven through Gatlinburg not really stopped so I don’t know of any great photo spots but I am sure there are plenty, as for the snow just come prepared. We never know when it is going to snow so it’s better to be safe than sorry. Last year we got like no snow here but the year before it was like it was snowing every other day. Of course it will be much easier to predict when the date gets closer.

Yeah  @LuluInLove… weather here in tn is just iffy all together which sucks (cause i’m having an outside wedding lol) but you should google the farmers almanac, you should be able to look back a year or so to atleast get an idea of what to some what expect…

And prettypincushion, i think my officiant is pretty awesome, not just because he is my pastor lol but it helps that he is funny so i feel copmfortable around him. so if you can’t find anyone i can pass you his info… oh and i got my engagment photos back today, after seeing these i’m tooooooo excited to get my bridal photos and wedding done!

Those photos are amazing you look awesome and I may end up needing that info, although we are not doing a religious ceremony at all and we are writing our own vows. Baically I need someone to stand there and say “I now pronounce you husband and wife” and to sign the marriage license lol

Wow, I don’t know how I missed this thread! My DH and I are both from Nashville! We got married at Lakeside Resort in Smithville, TN (don’t get married there!) and are anxiously awaiting our pro pics (if you don’t have a photog yet, check out Lotus Blossom Photography-the slideshow preview they sent us after our wedding was amazing and they were so nice and easy to work with!) It’s so cool to see other TN brides!

Also, Mrs. Dalmation (a blogger) is from Nashville too and had her recent wedding at Cedarwood.

@prettypincushion:  I used yellow and white and went for a simple garden theme. We were trying to keep the wedding under 5k so a lot of stuff didn’t work out exactly as I planned, but we had a great time and are super happily married now!

I am hoping to keep mine around 5k….I think I will go over but still hoping to keep it less than 7k or so and I am sure it was beautiful regardless of budget
