Good evening Bees!
Recently, one of my Bridesmaid or Best Man and I looked at several dresses. Right as I was ready to walk out the door, she found a dress that she wanted me to try on, Mori Lee 1863. I liked it alot! I’m very short, 5 2″ with hips, and bust. This dress really minimized my bust because of the thinner straps and was really flattering to my figure because of the corset. My question is, do anyone have any photos of themselves in this dress. In some ways, it looks very plain ‘tank top-ish” What do you think? Please be honest. I don’t know you personally and won’t bite your head off. Keep in mind, I haven’t fallen in love with this dress, so my feelings will not be hurt:) Below is the link to Mori Lee. Thanks!!

@mcchambers3210: This is the 1st dress I saw walking into the bridal shop I said I wouldnt do lace but for some reason I was drawn to it and wanted to try it on! It was the 1st dress they put me in and my mom cried needless to say its the only dress thats been on my mind, I just dono if I like the straps? I already got a dress for a heck of a deal Maggie Sottero Barcelona but I’m still thinking about this dress Mori Lee 1863! I love the way it looks on me 🙂 the only pic of me in it is on my phone I wish I could show it

If you are worried about the straps, a good seamstress can help you reshape the neckline so it’s not so tank-top-like. What about dipping it into a slight sweetheart and angling the point where the straps meet the neck? I’m imagining similar to mori lee 1854 (my dress) 🙂

Thanks ladies! I ended up going with another dress that has a sweatheart neckline! I wanted as little alterations as possible, as that adds up.
