It is a bit overwhelming but something you definitely need to think about.  We didn’t plan this part beforehand (other than immediate family) and realized afterward that we missed getting photos with some people who were very special to us (i.e. our friends that came all the way from Scotland!).  Just imagine if your wedding ended this past weekend and you got your pictures back, who would you be upset to discover that you hadn’t taken a photo with?

Out of town guests that you usually don’t get to see.  I specifically asked my photographer to capture as many guests during reception as possible – with or without my husand and I.  He was just kind of in the background and caught some good images of us interacating with our guests (hugging, laughing etc).  When guests asked to take a picture of us, he took one too.  If they noticed him, they sometimes asked him to take one which of course he obliged.

You are welcome.  We just found that after the family and wedding party photos we were SOOO ready to stop taking pictures (our faces started to hurt from smiling) that we just ran from the cameras and kinda forgot about everyone else.  A few people snagged us to get photos with their cameras, but I think it’s best to have a list beforehand that the photographer can make you stick to regardless of how ‘over it’ you feel!  : )

My godparents aren’t in my immediate family so them.

I would also want a picture of my Fiance and I and a couple we lived with in college.

I like generational photos – like one with my grandmother, mother and I.

I agree with Summerbvt – look at your guest list who would you be upset not having a picture with after the wedding?
