(Closed) Any Nikon photographers out here use the D3000 10.2mp DSLR?

I have no advice. I’m right there with you. The majority of lenses from slr and slr are actually different unless the lens came off one of the newer slr, kind of like the canon eos system.

I too am a canon girl. If my coshooter wasn’t in my bridal party she’d be shooting it.

The D3000 is actually not a pro-quality camera. I work with D300 (one less zero at the end haha) and D300s. I absolutely the D300s because it also takes HD video and it takes both SD & CF cards at the same time!

You can find bodies on the cheap now because most photographers are switching to the D700 (which is full framed)… expect to pay $1100 to $1500 for the body.


Plus, the Tamron lens for nikon is phenomenal.
