Hello,<br />I know this is waaaaaay in adavance, as Darling Husband and I haven’t even started TTC yet (soon though), but I really really want to be a Stay-At-Home Mom once we have a child. I am the bread-winner in the relationship, but hopefully that will change as Darling Husband is working towards a better job/career as a Corrections Officer. Right now he works construction for a small family business. Well, it seems as though all the SAHMs I know can be a Stay-At-Home Mom because the spouse makes decent money. And, it seems like they all have A LOT of money…not just “enough” but more than enough! These families have awesome homes, two nice vehicles, boats, pools, nice cell phones, take nice long vacations, ALL on one income! I want to know if there are any SAHMs out there that are middle class or lower? How does your family manage? I really want to be a Stay-At-Home Mom but I know we will “struggle” if I do so. My mom was a Stay-At-Home Mom my whole life (and I have a twin brother), and we were not wealthy at all, but we still had a great life. So, please tell me if it’s possible to be a Stay-At-Home Mom when the spouse isn’t making a lot of money.
