pinkcorsage :  i’m due for a new phone (right now i have a 2yo iPhone 7). not sure *which* phone yet, though. I don’t want to get the 8, since it’s already a year old. i guess i’m probably on the fence between the XR and the XS. i like the price of the XR better (obviously) but the size of the XS – i’ve never been a fan of the “plus” sized phones as i have small hands. sigh. i’ll probably wait for it to actually hit stores to see it in person before deciding. so many first world problems!

I want it all. I want an iWatch and a new phone (for the camera). I have a 2 year old 7 right now and it’s fine, but I REALLY want the portrait mode option for vacations and pictures of my kids. But Darling Husband needs a new phone and I doubt we’ll lay out the money for 2 new ones (although I would ask for mine for a combined birthday/Christmas present).

I’m thinking of getting an 8, simply because it is 2 years old….but much newer than my current 6s. cool

pinkcorsage :  Me! I will be getting the Xs Max. I am a huge tech junkie and have the T-Mobile jump on demand plan that is pretty much the same thing as Iphone forever… though I could potentially try phones of other brands. If I don’t like the size, I will then switch to the Xs. I am confused though: are we getting the dual SIM or just China???

I tried the watch last year and promptly sold it. I was using mostly for running purposes, and my Garmin is 100 times better at that, with more running-related functions, much better battery life and still can hold music. This new watch appears nice somehow for older people I believe, with the fall/emergency alert function and the incorporated EKG.

I still have my 6, and with every passing day, I want to throw it onto the train tracks, so I’m def getting a new phone.

and I think my Husband “needs” the watch. He was already debating the Series 3, but with the new addition of the ECG, it makes the 4 that much more worthwhile for his heart issues.

I’ll read reviews and see if they addressed any of the GPS issues in the watch, otherwise, I’m still better off with my Garmin.

Ugh, I’m debating this. I have a 6S now and it still works but I cracked the screen and it’s starting to get very laggy. I was considering just getting the 8 at the new lower price, but I’m debating because it’s already an old model. Presumably if I get the XS, it should last longer with updates. I’d get the XR for the price, but I don’t want a huge phone. I don’t know. I figure I’ll wait for them all to come out in stores and regular people start reviewing them to figure it out.

pinkcorsage :  It was the 3. Generally speaking I needed a more technical device for running, so the Apple Watch wasn’t cutting it. But it’s a nice device.

I’ll get the Xs Max for me and Darling Husband.  I have the series 3 watch, so not getting a new one, but looking forward to Watchos 5.

I love seeing this! I work for Apple and this year releases have been one of the best in last few years. Decision to get rid of iPhone x was definitely coming and a good decision but it served as a great first phone in its series to work out all the bugs and figure out what customers really enjoy and hate about it. I’ve already listed my watch series 3 for sale and preorered series 4 along with xs max. I love the screen size. I had one of the plus phones so I’m used to the size and seeing it all screem with no borders is amazing. The back glass is actually different from iPhone x to be more durable. No one liked paying $549 for the back glass on iPhone x.

Purchasing it directly through Apple instead of going through carrier can give you faster ship date as well in most cases and can do store pick up.

I pre-ordered the Xs Max last night. I currently have the 7 plus, and ready for an upgrade!  Hubby pre-ordered the Iphone Xs. He currently has the Pixel XL 2, but finds it too big for his pockets. I find it funny that he decided to go back to Apple since he loves to talk trash about it!!
