Yeah, though I’m only half Hispanic, but my Fiance is like the whitest white person ever. For Christmas last year my dad gave him a t-shirt that says, “Keep out of direct sunlight” because he’s so pale. Fiance definitely is still adjusting to my big, loud, super affectionate Mexican side of the family.

I’m half Puerto Rican and Fiance is Italian/French. He loves my mom’s empanadas but he put his foot down about a latin band at the reception 🙁

@LGenz:  Yeah, my Fiance definitely vetoed my suggestion for a mariachi band during our cocktail hour.

I’m Costa Rican (born in the US) and Fiance is African American.  I would love to incorporate a salsa/merengue band but it is SO not in the budget!

Cuban born in USA, fiance is a Italian/Irish from USA & we could not be more different. I love that we are bringing our cultures together! The rehearsal dinner will be all Italian food, and the wedding reception will be at a cuban restaurant!

Yes! I am Puerto Rican…really Puerto Rican, born and raised and everything there. Moved to Texas 2 years ago. My fiancee is half black and half italian/irish, born in Oklahoma. I think we are a great match even though sometimes cultural things are definitely not the same!

Yup! Well I technically already married him. :  ^  ) I’m Puerto Rican/Colombian and my hubby is Irish/Scottish and a few more mixes of european. I was lucky to find somehow who embraces and loves my culture even more than I do! Our first dance was to a bachata by Prince Royce sung in English and Spanish. I love him. :  ^  )
