Half Spanish/Half Argentine. My husband is a good ol’ boy from North Carolina where his whole family was born and raised.

I’m Uruguayan and my Fiance is Irish. What’s really funny is almost my entire family is half Uruguayan/half Irish or German, because my mom and all of my Aunts and Uncles married somebody Irish or German! So our new family-to-be will fit right in 🙂

Little funny tidbit- both my cousin and I dated Argentinian guys at some point that spoke fluent Spanish and could talk to los abuelos with no problems (we are very close to our abuelos, so this was pretty cool). Turns out abuela did not like either of the boys even though the spoke Spanish, but she loves our guys now, even if the extent of their Spanish is “hola!”

So excited for our wedding, which will have both irish coffees y postres con dulce de leche
