I’ll just be 34 when I deliver this baby.  If we decide on another I’ll be in the 35+ club, though.

Congrats!!! What a great reason for the “luv chub.”

I had my first just after I turned 35. I’m currently 28 weeks with my second–I’ll be 36 when he/she is born.

I was 39 when I had my daughter this past July. I’m 40 now and as soon as AF returns, we’ll be trying for #2

I had my first at 36 and my son is now 14 months. We will be trying for our second next month, so I’ll most likely be 38 if we are lucky enough to have another one.

vllister:  I’m 35, my due date is in 12 days, YAY! I found out I was pregnant in June 2014 and my 35 birthday was a month later in July.

Everything has gone really well so far with this pregnancy, baby and me are healthy. I have gained 27 pounds so far, I did my best to not gain too much since I was overweight when I got pregnant. I will worry about losing weight once our Dear Daughter is born, going to do weight watchers. I want to set and be a healthy example for my child. Good luck with everything!

I pretty much have figured out that it was my 37th birthday shenanigans a month ago that got me pregnant 🙂 we were on the NTNP route.

vllister:  So far I haven’t had any complications. Everything looked great at our 8 week ultrasound. I passed my early gestational diabetes screening. Our genetic screening is scheduled for 2.5 weeks from now, and hopefully that trend will continue.

vllister:  thank you! Yes, dd was my first, last and only. the first trimester was rough with exhaustion/morning sickness, but after that pretty good. She is such a blessing, so I tried not to complain too much.

due to my “”advanced maternal age,” I had more doctor visits/sonograms than a younger mom, and had non-evasive stress tests (aka baby heartbeat monitored for 20 min) starting at 36 weeks (I think, can’t remember exact date.) there are new guidelines for women over 40 not to go much past 40 weeks, so I ended up with a scheduled induction, which led to a c-section. My goal was a non- medicated childbirth, but my top goal was a healthy baby/healthy mom, and that’s what I got. :).
