my friend – sweetest, shyest girl you can imagine – got a myspace message a few years ago from their producers or whatever basically saying “we see you’re getting married! do you consider yourself a bridezilla? wanna be on our show?” needless to say she declined, she obviously wouldn’t be what they wanted anyway!

No way!  Aside from the fact that they are obnoxious, they are to my mind just one more example of the medias demonizing women.  From brides to mothers-in-law, the media thinks it is just fine to stereotype them as bitchy.  Can you even imagine a similar program stereotyping grooms or fathers-in-law?

I know a guy who was a groomsman in a Bridezillas wedding! He said that his friend (the groom) was miserable in the weeks leading up to the wedding and that it really strained his relationship with his now-wife, her family, and his family. I definitely would not want to start a marriage off like that.

They give you money towards the wedding, but my friend indicated that the groom didn’t consider it to be worth the stress and heartache.

No way! I would never want to act like that. I think my Fiance would have the good sense to call off the wedding if I did, lol!

Never. Never ever ever in 1,000 years. Why would anyone want THAT to be the impression they make on millions of people?

Nope!  I do like watching the show though… along with Jersey Shore.  I’m a sucker for those kinds of shows… 🙂

No way! I heard that the girls on the show are “provoked” to act that way on purpose (through promises of a paid honeymoon or something?) but I still wouldn’t want to be portrayed like that on national tv! There was a girl on the show where I live, I see her at the gym sometimes and she SEEMS like a nice gal. But I can’t just walk up to her and be like “ummm…so are you really that bitchy?” lol

I love the show. Im not much for the drama but I would totally be on the show if offered. There are some chicks I want to punch int he face on the show but then there are some ladies whom I find kind of cute and funny (the girl who baked all the cakes as an example).

Yes, I know someone who was on that show (I am not going to say the names as i am gonna tell you exactly what happened with the producers and stuff and I do not want them to be sued for the money back etc.. yes, they can be sued.)

This is hte story I heard.  I actually met these people at a party at a friends house.  Then a couple nights later I was flipping through the channels and saw them on the show, and we have been to quite a few parties where they have been present so i have gotten to know them fairly well.

First: they had to sign a gag order.  to not talk about it and tell people how the show was ran, etc..

second: they provked her and made up lies to th bridesmaids, so much that her maid of honer doesn’t even speak to her anymore.

third: they only got 4thousand dollars…  and only AFTER the show aired.  If htey did not show the episode, then there would have been no money

fourth: it did put alot of stress on the families, the weeks leading up to the wedding were not happy like they should have been, and they said they never would do it again

fifth: They made it seem like there were strippers at the bachelor party, where the groom promised the bride there wouldn’t be…  there was NO strippers, its a bunch of nerds who play video games.

four thousand dollars is alot of money, but its not enough.  they wish they never did this.  Friendships of many years were lost, pretty much everything was staged.  I would never do it.  Well i may actually for my vow renewal because we could really use the money and we have been married for so long, BUT… that situation is way different.

Please do not do this.  🙁  its not worth it.  I know (sort of) first hand:(  They portrayed this girl and her mom to be like the wicked witches of the west…  and they aren’t they are actually very nice people.
