YES!!!!  I do!  This always used to happen to me and then I switched to liquid capsule vitamins and I almost NEVER get sick.  Worked for me- hope it works for you!

Just eat well before taking them. If you haven’t eaten enough you will get sick. It’s happened to me plenty of times. So I take them right after meals not snacks.

I switched to pure encapsulations and they don’t bother me even if I haven’t eaten anything.

My mother used to try to feed me solid horse pill multi vitamins in the morning before school, and I would also get sick to my stomach on the school bus.

If you want calcium, you could try some of those viactin caramel chews with D.  They taste pretty decent too and are like eating a tootsie roll.

I get sick if I take iron. So I don’t think it is unusual. Maybe you are taking in something your body doesn’t really need?

Tums can be taken as a Calcium supplement too. I think they say like 2 a day or something. It says on the bottle. I get the wintergreen ones and they’re sooo good. Also since it’s an antacid, i don’t think it would upset your stomach too much if you took them with flintstones to get the extra calcium.

I actually do have 2 tums a day so I can at least get my calcium…I also have heard that its the iron in the tablets that makes you sick…but i got so turned off that I just stopped taking them all together…

CHEWABLE!

I thought my tummy couldn’t handle any vitamins!  I got so sick.  So finally, I was like “well, whats a vitamin that won’t sit in my tummy?”   Oh yeah, Chewables!

You’ll never get sick, they never hit your tummy (obviously).  I take a Flinstones chewable (google it, they’re for adults too!)  Never had any trouble with them.  Goodluck.  πŸ™‚

This just happened to me this week!! I took my vitamin before breakfast, only really had coffee, and then I thought I was coming down with a stomach bug. I didn’t realize they recommend taking it with food. arg.

On days I know I won’t be eating well I take a “gummy vite.” They are marketed towards kids but adults can take them too πŸ™‚

I also take an iron pill, but always with food, and I’m fine (minus, umm, my body’s output being a little heavier..)

They sell a huge jar of them at costco for much cheaper than the grocery store/target.

I have found that GNC brand multi-vitamins don’t make me feel sick at all, but the regular brands at CVS make me feel very ill. I switched to all GNC vitamins (except for Solgar Gentle Iron, which also doesn’t make me ill) this year and it has been so much better.

maybe a natural food store sells a vitamin type drink mix? like a powder you can take? Or a “supershot” in a packet or something you just slurp down?

Also i think Ensure is supposed to have a day’s worth of vitamins and minerals. You could drink those. My grandma used to
