It’s only a few days until my wedding and I seem to check the weather every couple of hours…just in case something drastic changes!
It’s been cold and windy, and fairly wet here in Leeds, England these past couple of weeks, but it’s dried up a lot this week, and it’s looking like it’s going to get really hot (too hot for the poor boys in suits) and then cool a little by Sunday. Hopefully not too much, on the different reports I can see a range of 13-19degrees C, fingers crossed for the top end of that!
My wedding is inside, but at a hotel with lovely grounds, I really hope we get to use them!

haha yeah I am too. I hope the beautiful weather we are having right now holds up! Its supposed to be +20 and sunny for the next two weeks. Our wedding is outside so I can’t wait until I can start seeing it on the 14 day forecast (the indoors alternative is really nice too.. but we are getting married at a golf course so I would really like to be able to take advantage of the grounds for the pictures).

Yep, I’m 9 days out. Right now it looks warm (or hot) and sunny. As long as there isn’t rain, I’m aok. It can be 95F or 80F I don’t care. 🙂

Yes. I’ve been watching the almanac for months, unfortunately our wedding ceremony/reception locatins are right on the edge of two zones, and what happens in Nebraska or Indiana is not what happens in our little corner! Before too long I can start stalking the 10-day forecast!

Guilty! It’s been sunny and dry here, but the only day forecast for rain in the next 10 days is our wedding day. Eek! Crossing my fingers it blows over. 🙂

Definitely been stalking and mines not even on the extended forecast yet!

I just started stalking this morning and I’m still too early!! My weddings the 17th and I can only see as far as the 16th! And it’s supposed to be rainy on the 16th 🙁 Hopefully it gets it out of it’s system so by the 17th its all clear! My wedding’s outside!!! We have a backup indoor plan, but it definitely wouldn’t be the same

Cant wait till Sunday to see the 14 day extended forcast for our June 19th wedding. I soo hope to see a big yellow sun and no raindrops!

I am getting married June 10th and I have been stalking since the 14 day forecast was availabe. It has changed every single day!! First it showed rain..then sun and hot…then a little less hot but all sun…now it’s showing scattered storms. I can’t take the up and down so I suggest don’t even look at it! I know I should take my own advice but I just can’t help it! 🙂

I keep checking and date isn’t even available on the forecast yet. I am freaking out a bit because the next week shows on and off rain and usually it doesn’t rain in June here 🙁

I wont be checking the weather until the week of the wedding. I’m hopeful and pretty confident that we will have nice weather on that day.

@Phiphi: Fellow UK bride, we’re getting married on a Sunday too. I know I will end up stalking the BBC weather nearer the time. It looks good for this weekend, reckon you’ll be alright.

It totally made my morning that I can finally check the weather on the long range forcast now.. I’m sure it will change a million times before the wedding.. but right now it’s sunny skies the day of! Wahoo!

HEY! We are wedding (and I guess weather) twins.
This is the current satellite image off the coast of California. Its rainy hard right now.
(Actually, its a pretty amazing satellite picture….)
Good luck – they do say rain on a wedding is good luck.
