I’m sorry to tell you this, but you’re probably not going to get a professional tenor.  Most high-level performing artists don’t hire themselves out for weddings, and even if they are, their fees would be prohibitive.  Students are much more likely to perform at weddings for a more reasonable rate, but you’re better off to try some of the smaller schools rather than Julliard.  Also, check with some of the churches with great choirs, which is probably our best bet — you might be able to find someone with professional training who didn’t become a full-time performer.

I actually know a guy who is a semi-professional opera singer.  He works a day job and does opera on the side, he and his wife both do.  My Fiance subletted from them one summer.  They go out of the country occasionally to perform though.  PM me and I can probably find his website.  Although I have no idea what he would charge for something like that.

Why don’t you call a university and ask for a singer who would be interested in a gig?
