@ania11:  Yayyy here I am!

Colours are eggplant and charcoal, there is no theme other than a wedding that is formal and hopefully doesn’t suck, and I went with the Enzoani Casablanca for my gown. Can’t wait to see it all in action!

@ania11:  haha I just realized your original post said 2014 – oops! I’m in the fall so I’m kind of close?? lol.

Thanks!! I’ve been through two fittings (my dress came in really early) and it’s looking AMAZING. I’m really excited!

@ania11:  well twist my arm! πŸ™‚ Sorry these photos aren’t great – my mom took some and she’s not very steady with smart phones πŸ™‚

This is what it looks like with the bustle she’s adding on (it’s just pinned, for now). If you google Blue by Enzoani Casablanca you can see the whole train.

And this is a bit fuzzy but I was trying on the earrings, necklace, bracelet and birdcage for the complete look!

Squee! I’m excited!

@ania11:  what dresses are you considering, or is it still too early for that?

@ania11:  Thank you! I find because the shell of the dress is not so fixed, it looks really different on each bride. Also I had my seamstress take it out a little bit around my butt to make it fit more like a trumpet than a mermaid.. it’s pretty neat that you can make alterations that change the whole look and fit of the dress.

OMG I just googled your front runner and it’s soooo pretty. I thought about a dress with ruffles but when I put them on it just didn’t suit my personality so it looked kind of strange on me. I think the ivory is gorgeous (I think I prefer it over the blush) and with a blingy belt it looks so pretty! Good call on waiting for the new collections first, but if nothing catches your eye I think you’ll be happy with Divina. Have you found any stores in Ontario that carry the ivory? Maybe one of those big ones on Orfus might have that colour? My friend found her SaBelle in white to try on there (everywhere else she found gold). Just don’t bank on any kind of customer service in that shop, lol.

I’m getting married in Hamilton, right on the water.  I picked a date at the end of March hoping it wouldn’t be like this year and be nice enough to have our ceremony outside…. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for that!

We’re planning a vintage/romantic wedding and our colours are navy and ivory.  I’m thinking about adding a splash of another colour but I’m afraid it may take away from the vintage feel… what are your thoughts?

I’ll be wearing Maggie Sottero’s Emma for our big day.  Not what I originally thought I wanted, but it is the one that I fell in love with.  Now I can’t imagine walking down the aisle in anything else.  πŸ™‚
