I’m only 5’6″..but my DH is only a few inches taller than I am! So even w/ his dress shoes having a little lift, I didn’t want any heels higher than 3″ and all cute heels are HIGH nowadays, anything 3 or under are so matronly lately, I hate it! I finally went the custom route (used Milk and Honey Shoes) since what I wanted didn’t exist

Hahaha I have received the call…
Sadly, I am not 6′ tall without the help of my 6-inch heels *sigh* (and I am seriously so very jealous of you statuesque beauties).
Depending on your budget, you have tons of fabulous options out there: Zappos.com, DSW.com, 6pm.com, Amazon.com (especially since they all let you narrow by heel height). I would also check out department stores and other lesser-known sites (perfectdetails.com, heels.com, Outnet.com, designsbystephene.com, shoptheshoebox.com, bluefly.com, etc.). Try searching for “kitten heels.”
Since I like photos, I have found you some pretties:
Elie Tahari ($89.40) Jimmy Choo Isabel ($575) Prada Glitter ($690)
Pelle Moda ($135) JC Isabel Glitter ($550) Pelle Moda ($180)
Vince Camuto ($42.57) Target ($21.24-24.99) Rene Caovilla ($1,075)
Vanelli ($104) J Renee ($99.95) J Renee ($79.95)

To me, they’re not really casual, as they are silk satin. I’m having them dyed ivory…
Ha! I knew you’d have awesome suggestions!

I am about 5 11 maybe 12 and I wear a 11 so heels are hard to find hubby is about a inch shorter then me but barely noticeable I found my shoes on Amazon there blue with a 2 1/2 in heel in a suede fabric with ruching on the toes super cute and affordable. I agree with pp’s about the sites they listed also check payless shoe source there great for having larger sizes.

I’m 5’7 but my soon to be Fiance is only 5’9” so I won’t be wearing heels to our wedding, and I feel your pain because I love me some super high heels!

I’m right there with you, mamacita. I’m not quite 6 feet, but my fiance is NOT taller than me (not even an inch plus he has dreadful posture). I absolutely adore heels (3in minimum) and before I met him I wore them daily. I get a little sad everytime I remember that I can’t have a lovely pair of out-of-this-world stilettos for my big day. In other news, I’m scouring the internet for a pretty pair of flat sandals. I still haven’t found any that say “wedding” rather than “pool party.” Let us know if you see anything!

AH! So many options! You need to stop tempting me with those GORGEOUS Jimmy Choos…..
Thank you for your help! I obviously have some online shoe shopping to do!

@ChelseaBells: I am 5’11” a size 12us (9uk) and I live on Amazon.com online and in the uk a trusty, study brand called Faith in debenhams carries cute big and tall shoes. There is also evans but I dont buy online, I have to try on instore. I have never had problems with shoes, and thank God that Fiance is 6’6” so I can pull off the highest inch and still be ”shorter” and petite like next to him lol. As you can see I love shiny things Anyway see what I came up with

There are so many beautiful 2-2.5″ Jimmy Choos, but I thought it would be too evil to put all of them on here (and I didn’t even go near the Pradas and Louboutins). Good luck with the search 😀

I’m 6’1″ and my fiancé is about 5’11”. I just ordered these shoes (J. Renee Accent) from DSW… His dress shoes have a bit of a lift/heel so it should work out ok too.
At work I rock higher heels with my dressy skirts but I don’t want to look like that much of a giant at my wedding.

I’m six feet tall, and my Fiance is 6’4″. I still don’t want to wear a super tall heel because I want to be completely comfortable. Even if he were taller I wouldn’t wear heels. However, if you want to wear tall heels, go for it! You’ll be even more stunning in your dress!
