@StormyRose: That is really beautiful! I love the color of your ring! It’s the perfect blue! That’s really special that it’s your FI’s birthstone! It was funny b/c my boyfriend didn’t even realize that blue topaz was his birthstone, he was pretty excited when I told him that! (He’s sort of oblivious haha, not the type of guy that would know what his birthstone was, he’s typically in the garage working on his car, or watching football lol)

@mrsrangrang: YOUR RING!! It’s so spectacular!! I LOVE it! I usually am not the biggest fan of citrine, I like it, but it’s not typically my favorite! The color of your gemstone is beautiful though! The fact that it’s an antique makes me love it even more! I wanted an antique ring also! My future sister in law told my brother that she ‘would never have an antique!’ she didn’t like the idea! I agree, it makes it more romantic! I can’t believe your ring is from the 1930’s! I love that! I agree that it’s not the ring that makes the marriage!
How big is your ring? It’s funny that you say that about it being bigger than your friends, b/c my brother just proposed to his girlfriend, she wanted a black diamond as the center stone. So far all the rings that my boyfriend & I have fallen in love with, are bigger then her center stone ๐ NOT that it’s a competition, but jus sayin’ haha! Where did you guys find your ring? Just curious! Thank you for sharing your beauty!

@NoaMarijn: I didn’t know that about the Netherlands! That ring is beautiful! Did he give it to you for an engagement ring? Or is it more of a promise ring? Thank you fro posting!

@LaraW: I LOVE your tanzanite! It’s so beautiful! I love that your band isn’t over bearing too! Your ring is really elegant! I agree entirely with you, the ring doesn’t really matter. Like I said in my post, I don’t like the idea of spend tons of money on rings. I really am just excited to begin my life with the love of my life! Thank you for sharing your ring!

@misschickpea: That’s a beautiful ring! I really wanted a paraiba tourmaline! They’re really rare, but incredible gemstones! I chose a topaz b/c of the durability too, I need something pretty durable! I love blue stones though! Thanks for posting!

@SarahSmilesDec28:That’s a ruby! It is such a beautiful color! I would have mistaken it for garnet! Your ring is so beautiful! I love the diamond accents though! It just makes the color pop! Thank you for sharing!

I actually really wanted a blue moissy engagement ring, but at the time I became engaged, they were not selling blue… and I didn’t like green, pink or yellow for an e-ring.

Mschocoholic thanks!I fell in love with it straight away! Im glad your not against estate rings! some ppl are a bit weirded out by it.. but i just get to say someone in the 1930’s made a ring just for us!
FH got it from an Estate Jeweller. We looked online at some of them and they have alot of rings that are really nice..then we found this.. Dont be afraid to look on line, just check with some reviews of their stuff. ppl who have had bad experiences will post about it.. also if they are saying it is froma certain era get them to certify it.
oh and the ring is 2 carats.. none of my friends even have close, it makes me smile a little.. lol (not that its a competition)… ๐
