Blush, ivory and light wedding color schemes seem really popular right now. Don’t get me wrong, they can be classy and beautiful, but I’m looking for any fellow bee’s that chose bright colors for their wedding. Tell us a little bit about your venue and what colors you chose!
My wedding colors are primarily pink and orange with teal blue accents. Our theme is sort of tropical rainforest garden since our venue is really lush with palm trees and ferns everywhere.
A couple of inspiration pics…
And the venue…

- Wedding: April 2017 - Hogarths, Solihull
I’m not even sure we have a colour scheme anymore lol!
Our tables are all different colours (Blue, Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple & Green), all the flowers are mainly white but with some comic book roses thrown in, the BMs are in grey and last I checked Fiance was planning on wearing a grey Morning Suit with a Blue Ted Baker tie!
Sounds awful when it’s written down like that but I promise it’ll be ok 😛

Most of the green will be darker and this will be our main focus….sorry for large pictures.

It feels like every other wedding themed picture I’ve seen have soft pastelly “romantic” colours. No thanks… LOL
My colours are burnt orange and blue, like my profile pic. I have small bits of different shades of orange popping up in the decor. The tablecloths and seat covers are dark silver (pewter?). Tuxedos are dark blue. Bouquet will be mainly vibrant and dark orange. BMs will have a single stem bird of paradise flower.
I feel like I need more orange…. my dream would be cascades of dark orange flowers – everywhere – but apparently we need to feed people, so money is going towards that instead… 😉

- Wedding: September 2017 - The Meadows
My colors are turquoise & purple, which I think are pretty bold, but not exactly bright. Our wedding will have a darker look to it, so I don’t think anything will be bright haha

This is our ceremony site that I’m absolutely in love with:

I have since changed my colors to (primarily) Sky Blue and Peach but for a long time we were going for Aqua and Watermelon with hints of Tangerine! I loved the brighter color scheme but it just didn’t fit with our vision anymore. (Sorry about size, I’m on mobile!)

I like bright colors much, much more than pastels.
We got married at a vineyard and went with a very general “blues and purples” color theme without specifiying hues or shades, but there was a fair amount of white / cream in the bouquets, which neutralized the brightness a little. The only things we had that might be considered pastel were the the flowers on my flower girl’s dress, and the table runners and napkins, which were all lavender. But then our centerpieces / table numbers were cobalt blue wine bottles as a contrast. I would definitely go bright if I were you!

Oooohh I LOVE bright flashy colours!! All of the themes you girls posted are gorgeous!!
Here are some of my photos. Those are my Aqua/Mint bridesmaids dresses (well from the back) underneath are their fuschia bouquets. Guys are in grey tuxes with the Aqua/Mint bows and hankies. That’s not “our” escort card display, we had to make a larger one so it’ll be same design, 6′ tall and 8′ wide. (Too many name cards) and covered like in photo with fuschia flowers.
Our reception is in a tent on a golf course, so since there’s lots of greens, we built a bunch of lawn games (ring toss, giant jenga, giant connect 4, etc) and painted them in our colours with accents of gold.
Less than a month to go. 👏🏽😁👏🏽😁
first image is our church and tent. But will be much more colourful with Aqua table cloths and napkins, and tall fuschia floral centrepieces.

We are going bright for our wedding! Since it will be mid-summer and in Cape May, NJ we decided to go with bright oranges, pinks and poppy reds! Our theme will revolve around citurs fruits so all the centerpieces will have fruits mixed in 🙂

Our theme is seahawks (osprey) and peacocks. There will be lots of pops of bright green.

I love your inspiration! Very similar to mine.
your wedding was gorgeous!
It’s funny all of you saying you like bright colors over pastels. I’m actually the type to wear dark colors all the time but the brighter colors just make the event more festive!
